This afternoon, hop on your bicycle to explore Hoi An's unique culinary world. First, stop for a delicious banh mi, the signature Vietnamese sandwich of French influence, filled with fresh, flavourful ingredients.
Next, cycle onwards to a small private home to taste a home-cooked noodle dish steeped in a savoury broth that's been described as part soup, part salad and uniquely Hoi An. Continue to pedal to a local restaurant for some sizzling rice pancake (banh xeo), where you will be welcomed like family and dine as the residents do. Afterwards, cycle off the previous dishes to make room for our next stop in a cheese factory. Enjoy pairing cheese with Vietnam's award-winning craft beer and a superb rice wine for an unexpected treat. Then, begin your evening with an authentic, outdoor Vietnamese BBQ featuring delicious fresh seafood, pork and grilled vegetables.
Finally, round off your experience in a quiet coffee shop with sweet treats and a few last words with your guides and fellow foodies.
