Pedra da Gávea is the largest monolith by the sea in the world with its 842m above sea level and overlooks the entire south zone of Rio de Janeiro and the west zone.
The route is uphill, passing through the holm oak tree, reaching the plateau and passing by the head of the emperor.
Total duration of 8 hours and difficult level, 3.5km of steep climb with climbing and technical sections.

5.00Our stay in Rio de Janeiro was undoubtedly beautiful thanks to the patience of Haroldo and his wife. Incredible photos and places that remain in my memory forever. Their kindness and dedication is noteworthy. We missed the Pedra da Gávea experience due to the bad weather 😞. But without a doubt we will return ❣️

5.00Wonderful tour, incredible experience 🤩 Haroldo is awesome, a patient, motivational guide lol he made all the difference in some moments on the trails that I thought I wouldn't be able to do, attentive, careful with the equipment, with our safety and also takes incredible photos... in short, I highly recommend it to anyone who is Thinking about venturing out, it was my first time and a good guide makes a lot of difference!

5.00What an incredible experience! Haroldo is super patient, punctual, respects everyone's limits and has enviable patience. Unique and sensational experience. I went on 2 trips with him, Pedra da Gávea and Pedra do Telégrafo (sunrise) incredible 😱. Congratulations, Harold! I highly recommend it.

5.00The entire excursion with Haroldo was excellent. We went up to the Pedra de Gavea, a beautiful place. Haroldo is very kind, he respects people's times. The photos he took of us are spectacular. Super recommended. If I return to Rio, I would definitely like to do another trilha with him.
