Did you know that wine is an integral part of our lives for Georgian people? This tour is an opportunity for you if you want to feel Georgia as a cradle of wine.

We will pick you up from your hotel/apartment at 09:00 AM and this is where your journey starts. Our first stop is at the local village where you have a unique opportunity to visit the local traditional bakery to taste Georgian traditional cheese and bread - Shoti. After that, we explore highlights of Kakheti like Sighnaghi - the City of Love and Bodbe nunnery with its fascinating views.

Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino

Bodbe Monastery dedicated to Saint Nino is located at Bodbe, 2 km from the town of Sighnaghi, Kakheti. St. Nino is very important saint for Georgians, since she was the one who spread Christianity in our country in the 5th century. Last years of her life, she spent in Bodbe, that’s why Georgians buried St. Nino in this monastic complex.Nowadays, a lot of people come to see her tomb, as this place is very miraculous. You will see many people coming out from there with tears and hear many stories explaining how their wishes came true. This place keeps many secrets and stories. You will feel it already when you enter the beautiful garden which overlooks to Alazani Valley. Nuns, who live there, are taking care of it and they try to keep it as beautiful and green as it was during the life of St. Nino.

We had a great tour with Luka who was charming and knowledgeable. He took us to visit a number of wineries where we learned about and samples some excellent Georgian wines. Along the way we learned a bit about Georgian history and culture. It was a full day out but the time passed by quickly.

Luka was amazing, and I had a wonderful tour. We went all through the wine region of Georgia and to see the beautiful country side. Luka was very attentive and explained everything super well. He took me to many locals houses to try their wines and bites. Tour took in total 7 hours. At the end of my trip I left my jacket at a restaurant in Tbilisi. After I left the country, Luka was so kind to retrieve the jacket and ship it to me. Thank you to Luka for making my Georgia experience so wonderful ☺️🩷 I cannot recommend enough!!!

Pick up by Luka was on time and well organized. It was nice to be flexible with our stops and move the wine tasting to the end it was less crowded and we felt like we could talk to the tour guide more than if we were mixed with a huge group. We loved seeing the farm for the bread and cheese tasting, the view points were great and Luka made sure to find a certain preserve I was looking for while we were on our tour and I’m so happy to have it. The convent was beautiful and so was Sighnaghi. It made me want to come back to Georgia and explore more small towns and see the countryside. The nature is so beautiful. I highly recommend this tour!
Lots of Kakheti in just a day and a half!

What a great two day trip! From the monastery, to the tours of wineries, to the cooking class, to the amazing scenery of Kakheti, Luka and his team figured out a way for me to see a maximum slice of Georgia in a minimal amount of time. Mancho, my driver, was much more than just a driver — played great music as we drove, engaged in great conversation, and was there every step of the way to help out with finding lodgings and communicating with others. Thank you Mancho! And thank you Luka for planning such a wonderful tour. Highly recommended! Scott

My friend and I did the private wine experience together. We had a wonderful time. We tried wine at so many places. Luca had a lot of knowledge about wine and he gave us a very authentic wine experience. I will always recommend everyone to book tour thru this agency.

I booked Lela’s tour 2 weeks before my arrival in Georgia and it was such a wonderful experience! She responded promptly and professionally! My guide that day, Mirian, was very kind, speaks very well english and very accommodating! Because it is a private tour, you can take your time and visit the touristic point at your own pace! Mirian was very knowledgeable and guided me when buying wine, cheese, local sweets etc! I really enjoyed the tour, well organized and professional! One thing that I am grateful for to Lela is that in Gudauri, she helped me find a great local Tour guide to take me to Kazbegi! I appreciated very much her willingness to help and kindness! I definitely recommend this tour! You will not regret it! Thank you, Lela and your team!

Very friendly, eloquent, knowledgeable Guide and also a very good driver. Had explanation to every question. The food was excellent, the experience in the wine tunnel good - could be a bit longer.

With wine and hope, anything is possible. Wasn't aware about the fact that Georgian wines are really good. Lela's tour program and recommendations were astounding. Book this tour and thank me later :p
