This sailing trip is perfect for people who love being active and outdoors. Your daily activities will include sailing, hiking, cycling, paddle boarding, swimming and snorkeling. Daily activities are fun and not too demanding. You will explore the Peljesac and Elaphiti shorelines and Mljet Island; full of unique cliffs, caves, coves, rocks, beaches and pine forests. The trip is based in the Dubrovnik area, leaving time to visit and explore this famous walled town.

Check in at 3 pm on Day 1. Boarding on Day 2 is 10 am for Saturday, Sunday and Monday departures, 2 pm for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday departures.
We sail when the weather and itinerary allow it. Sailing is our preferred mode of transfer, and our skippers are very experienced, but sometimes a choice needs to be made between getting somewhere in time for a meal or sightseeing or raising the sails and turning off the motor.
This itinerary and the duration of the activities are subject to change due to group abilities and preferences, weather conditions and forecasts, water levels, special events of interest, etc. Huck Finn guides and trip leaders will do their utmost to ensure the best possible experience for their clients without compromising safety at any time. This may mean changing the original itinerary to avoid discomfort or risk which could be caused by exceptional situations. Huck Finn reserves the right to alter the itinerary without prior notice.

Arrival in Komolac (Dubrovnik) and check into your accommodation from 3 pm. Conveniently located and a 15-20 minute ride from Dubrovnik, Komolac is a great base for the first night of your cruise. Visit Dubrovnik, explore the surrounding area by bike, or canoe one of the world’s shortest rivers, the Ombla.

Meeting is our office at Komolac, Tenturija road 62, next to hotel Vimbula. You can get there by bus from the Old Town (buses 1 a, 1 b, 1 c to bus stop “Komolac 2”) or by taxi. Please note we are not in the marina, but close by in Komolac, Tenturija Road.

Boarding at 10 am on Saturday, Sunday and Monday; and at 2 pm onTuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We sail toward the island of Kolocep where we stop for a swimming break. You will also have a chance to try out paddleboards before stopping for lunch in one of the best fish restaurants of Dubrovnik area. In the afternoon we sail past Lopud island to anchor for the night in a beautiful bay on Sipan island.

Mljet National Park
Our next stop is Mljet Island National Park, a perfect place for activities such as sea kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, cycling and swimming. Entrance fee to the national park is not included in our price, but can be paid on spot. A lush pine forest hides two saltwater lakes. You can cycle from our mooring to the lakes and time permitting take a boat to the small island on larger of the lakes and, time permitting, visit an abandoned monastery built in the 13th century. Later in the afternoon we sail to the Zuljana Bay on Peljesac peninsula where we will spend the night.

We spend the morning paddle boarding, swimming and snorkeling in the quiet Zuljana bay before we sail east towards Broce and Ston. The town’s stone walls are 5 km (3 mi) long and were built to protect salt production at a time when salt was an important export product of Dubrovnik Republic. You can walk around the walls that connects Ston and Mali Ston (Little Ston), famous for its oyster farms. Peljesac is also one of the best Croatian wine making regions, famous for its red wines. You will sail by the vineyards perched on the steep southern slopes of the peninsula, and do not miss the chance to try those wines. In the afternoon we return to a quiet bay or, depending on the weather, Luka Sipanska for the night.

Komolac
On our way back to Komolac, we sail by the green Elaphiti Islands. Disembark around noon on Tuesday, Wendesday and Thursday or at 4 pm if Friday, Saturday or Sunday are the fifth and final day of your trip. We invite you to spend some time in Komolac, enjoy lunch in a local restaurant before continuing to the airport or your next destination. If you are visiting some new places in Croatia feel free to ask your guides for recommendations. They know all the best places, and can point you to some that are less popular, but nevertheless beautiful.

5.00Skipper Jake was laidback and flexible. The tour is great for people who like the outdoors and an active lifestyle. You may struggle if you like home comforts. Hanging with the dogs was a bonus!

5.00This was the most perfect cruise experience I could have imagined. I was travelling solo, so a little nervous about being in a group on my own, but I met the most lovely people, including the captain and crew. Our itinerary was hindered by weather, but they made perfect adjustments and noone was disappointed. There was always something to do and see, and there were also options - no stressful agenda to stick to. The length of time on the boat was perfect, facilities were excellent, and I would choose them again in a heartbeat. Such a personalised service meant excellent value for money!

5.00We had the best time on a 4-day, 3-night adventure catamaran through the Elaphiti Archipelago with Huck Finn Adventures! Our skipper Marina and guide Dora truly made this trip unforgettable. Each day was filled with something new — exploring crystal-clear swimming spots, biking through national parks, dining at local restaurants, lounging on the front of the boat, and docking at charming island towns. Marina and Dora went above and beyond to make sure we saw as much of Croatia as possible, tried different foods, and experienced a variety of activities. The boat was spotless and surprisingly comfortable — sleeping arrangements were much easier than we expected! Breakfasts were simple but perfect to start the day, and there were always opportunities to grab local bites in the small towns we visited. We loved how organized everything was — from having bikes ready for inland adventures to using the provided kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkels. Each night, Marina and Dora made sure we docked somewhere new, giving us the chance to explore different islands and enjoy fresh experiences. On our last day, after the other guests continued on a mainland tour, my husband and I enjoyed a private sail back to Dubrovnik. Marina and Dora even found us one last incredible swimming spot before dropping us off conveniently at the ferry port — such a thoughtful way to end our trip. We would highly recommend Huck Finn Adventures to anyone who wants to explore the Croatian islands more deeply, experience life on a catamaran, and make wonderful memories (and friends!) along the way.

5.00Amazing sailing trip around the Elaphiti islands. Simpa and Tihana looked after our family incredibly well, ensuring our children were having a brilliant time. We loved all the swimming spots in the beautiful clear sea, visiting the national park and stopping at all the different islands. Thank you to Simpa and Tihana for finding a bike small enough for my daughter too - not an easy task! We would definitely recommend this trip.

5.00Croatia is a beautiful county, no better way to experience all it has to offer along the coast line. This trip had just the right amount of time on the boat to enjoy the beautiful crystal clear waters, small villages and larger cities. But the real secret behind this truly memorable vacation was our captain Stephano and guide Mia. Stephano, a very experienced captain ensured our safety and comfort, and knew exactly how to navigate around any unexpected weather. Mia, a true gem to anyone who crosses her path. Her rich Croatian background provided everyone with great insights on not only the places we visited, but her personal experiences growing up in Croatia through out the country’s unique historical events. The two of them immediately made us feel like family and made this trip one of the most memorable experiences for us! Thank you Stephano and Mia!

5.00We had a fantastic holiday hosted brilliantly by Simpa and Tihana. Just the right balance of relaxing and activities. Loved visiting different islands, swimming in secluded bays, cycling in the national park and just enjoying being on the catamaran. Highly recommend the trip.

5.00Our four night island hopping cruise was amazing! Our skipper, Sinisa, and his first mate, Tihana, made the trip such a pleasure for our family of seven. We spent 4 nights on the boat at several islands around Dubrovnik. The crew went over all the safety aspects of the boat, how to use things like the toilet, provided some refrigerator space, and patiently answered all sorts of questions. Sinisa is very knowledgeable about the history of the region, sailing, and spoke english really well. He also gave us really fun sailing lessons. We also biked, paddle boarded, snorkeled, and had fun adventures at various villages around the islands. Tihana made excellent breakfasts for us including accommodating a gluten free diet. She also recommended amazing restaurants, hiking adventures with stunning sunsets. Both of them took the time to understand our desires for the trip and customized things where they could. Even when we encountered some rain one morning, we had plenty of space to hang out and keep things fun. The waterways and islands we visited were breathtaking and right out of a postcard. The water was blue within blue and so very clear.
