Custom African print dress /shirt /caftan-making experience- From concept to finished garment. ● I will walk or transport you to the Makola fabric market, where you will be given a fabric tour. You will get to know the various types of fabric in Ghana and get to know the names and the meanings of the various symbols in the fabrics. ● You will select a unique African print that you love from a hundred options. ● Afterwards, you will be taken to our workshop to learn how to take body measurements for the making of your custom African wear ● Cut the pattern and pieces for your custom African wear (shirt, dress, or caftan) or any other item made in African print (discuss with us via message on the possibility ) ● Learn basic stitching or hand sewing in a practical lesson, while putting together your garment (expert studio assistant will guide or assist you ) ● While you enjoy your snacks, your dress, shirt, or caftan will be completed by our assistant. ● You will go home with your custom African wear. ● Lastly, you will be dropped off at your hotel.

5.00We had an amazing time with Renaissance Cultural Tours! I would highly recommend them for any of your tourism needs in Ghana. We did the Cape Coast tour, Umbrella Rock hike and my mother in law loved the fabric and custom clothing tours. I can't recommend them enough!!

5.00Shopping for the fabric we would be using was very interesting. We learned that different types of kente fabrics and the different symbol meanings. I was very happy with my final garment.
