They guaranteed me they would be able to provide the train tickets (some two weeks prior to my trip), but eventually they were not, and I had to find another mean of transportation by myself. Furthermore, they never bothered to contact me on their own behalf for notifying me they would not be able to deliver - not even after I called them and they promised to get back to me.

I would not use this service again. The tickets did not arrive until the night before the journey (for which we had to be at the station at 5AM). The communication from the provider was atrociously slow - which they acknowledged and apologised for, but for the high price of the ticket I really expected better. The stress caused by this caused me sleepless nights and immense stress, which detracted from my overall experience in Uzbekistan. These tickets cost several times more than the face-value of the ticket, and you get nothing for that mark-up except for anxiety.

We booked the tickets, paid, gave ID in an advance, and did our best to communicate with them. But they didn’t do the same. Seeing the reviews that say, they didn’t get the tickets, we booked another fast train, shark, that departs on the same day but earlier time like 8 o’clock in the morning to secure that we have a way back to Tashkent to catch our flight that is on the same day. We contacted them a few times asking where we could get the tickets or if it’s possible to get the tickets a day before. NO RESPONSE. They did contact us last minute because they didn’t see us at the station. Feel bad for a guy who was looking for us there. They even sent PDF and email with the ticket last minute, which I had been asking for! Just one response to the messages I sent could have avoided the situation. But they seem to feel no obligation to reply back since it says it was guaranteed. They also made sure if they can cancel the tickets. That means they’ve got all the money I paid, which was more than a double of the actual train fees. Of course, I asked the hotel Clark if they have any to get delivered to us because the voucher says the tickets will be delivered to your hotel.

Avoid. I booked a return ticket a month in advance from Tashkent to Samarkand. On the day of travel, I tried to download the ticket but it kept circling back to "redeemable voucher" - this is not a ticket. It also explicitly says "take the voucher to the redemption point" at the train station. There is no redemption point - just an email to download the ticket. I paid HKD794 and figured that would get me business class. I only then learnt that the operator and Viator were charging 4 times the ticket price for those tickets. I then went to the train station staff and we looked through the manifest together. My name didnt appear anywhere. I tried the customer chat who advised that I should just download the ticket from the email. Keep in mind that the mobile data comms is really flaky. Great, I am now going around in circles on an overpaid ticket that doesn't exist. I organised another ticket and then attempted to claim a refund in transit. They quickly advised that they would not be refunding the ticket after their "investigation". It was pretty obvious that I was being "blown off". So, I cancelled the rest of my tickets with Viator, I have lost HKD794 but I have this survey to share the experience.

Dear Viator I had used Viator as a tour and tickets since 20 years ago, I always satisfied. But this time, I was disappointed. I booked Afrosiyob high speed train tickets - Guaranteed pass Tashkent - Samarkand Thu, Apr 30, 2026. 07.30 AM. The operator said that they will send my tickets to my apartment. I had contacted the operator so many times and said they will send the tickets. But It didn't happen, until 1 hour before departured they sent e ticket by wa.The payment had been done since I booked the tickets. So I read the reviews customers, there was so many people who was disappointed and didn't get their tickets. I think you should take down that operator. It's very make us stressful. We changed our plan to "plan B", we had to make any decision, because if not all the trip will be changed. I had booked a minivan to Samarkhan, and finally we had to cancel at the last minutes, and we had to pay some money because that cancelation. Thank you very much

Tickets were received on Whatsapp about 1 hour before departure. There was a transfer included to the station from our hotels. The communication via Whatsappp was really good. I would recommend this service.

Tickets booked 2 months in advance as it is impossible to buy them directly from the official website (they only accept Uzbek cards). I specified all the data, including passport numbers, and asked for a specific train. I write several times to the whatsapp number and they always tell me that tickets are delivered to the hotel the day before departure. The day before I write often but no trace of the tickets. I get angry, also specifying that I have already paid for them and handsomely these tickets. At midnight they send them via WhatsApp for a different train than the one requested. Unfortunately, however, I do not have a different solution to recommend

They did not respond to messages where he asked about ticket delivery at the hotel. Poor attention from helplines. They sent tickets the same day.
