A 3 hours visit with 4 tasting breaks which will discover you Lyon to the plate. The perfect way to combine cultural discovery and greediness in order to launch your evening perfectly

Very enjoyable afternoon! Knowledgeable guide the secret pathways were a revelation! Lovely food and wine! One of the stops at BMD wine shop was so enjoyable we went back the next day and tried the wine flight and more food! We always try and do a food tour you get great recommendations and get to try things outside your comfort zone! It’s nice to meet people from other countries and share the experience.

Annais was a great guide, very informative regarding the history of the Old Town, the different foods we tasted and the area in general. All of the food we tasted was of a great quality and lots of it too. We had meats and a lovely red wine, then we moved to another venue and had the most amazing cheeses and white wine. We then had the most glorious local tart, which name I have forgotten then finished it off with a ice cream and sorbet competition to guess the flavours. The lovely little alleys we went down were so pretty and intriguing to see how live was in Lyon all those years ago. We also visited a silk shop and saw the old machinery for silk weaving, the different materials and how silk was produced were all covered. Can definitely recommend this walking food tour in Lyon

This tour was very well done. It was a small group with an excellent guide. We visited four locally owned food shops, where we were given lots of interesting information, followed by tastings paired with wines. The quality and quantity of the food and wine tastings was above expectations. The whole experience was amazing.

This is not a thorough presentation of French gastronomie but a very brief intro. The guide was friendly and somewhat entertaining. Beside food shops we also went to a silk shop.

Excellent visits to a few small locally owned shops for different foods. Love the cheese and the cake stop. Our guide Jeremy was very helpful explains the history of the city and about the food.
