Join us out on an exciting adventure as we explore the Monterey Bay in search of whales, dolphin, and other marine life. Monterey Bay is one of the best places in the world to see whales as we are lucky enough to experience these magnificent creatures year round here. Our vessels are smaller than some of our competition in order to give you plenty of viewing space and so that plenty of one on one time with our Marine Biologisits/Naturalists is ensured.

5.00Seeing whales on this small boat was perfect! Isaiah and Matt were great hosts and provided informational commentary. Outstanding experience. Saw several whales! Would highly recommend!

5.00From start to finish, they did a great job and made sure everyone had a great time. We saw several whales (about 7, I think) and the captain obliged us by repeatedly directing the boat so that we could have the best sightings. Isaiah, the oceanography expert, was dropping some interesting facts as we went, which made the experience even more enjoyable. He was also a polyglot and spoke a gazillion languages (okay, that part I exaggerated) but he was an even more interesting guide because of it. Isaiah also had a speaker so we can hear the whales "talking" to each other down below us! He also took photos and shared them with us by QR code - how thoughtful is that! Matt was our ever-friendly bartender, lifeguard, right-hand, who kept watch over us and had great conversations. This was a fun time, as the captain and our two guides were very likeable, friendly people who clearly enjoy what they do. YES, we recommend you go whale-watching and, YES, we recommend you go with Discovery Whale Watch! HAVE FUN! We did!

5.00Amazing experience, saw lots of whales, great commentary from the wonderful host. Would highly recommend this tour. Can get cold out on the water so take a jumper / coat.

5.00Absolutely amazing! Saw few whales. The tour guide was absolutely fantastic and engaging. Went with my college age daughter and she loved it!
Beware: purchase seasickness pills at least one hour before.

3.00I wish that somewhere on the website instructions about what to expect, the company would have indicated that they strongly recommend you take something to prevent seasickness. During the instructions we received about 20 minutes before the trip started, the guide strongly encouraged everyone to take a seasickness pill which was only one dollar each. I did. But this was only 20 minutes before the trip… It’s recommended to take One hour before. Even when I checked in, approximately one hour before the trip, the person doing the check-in did not say anything! I got sick… Many people got sick. I read all the instructions on the website before coming, including to wear layers and such. I just wish they added instructions on seasickness on the i fo site because I would’ve come prepared and would have done my research on what was the most effective pill to take. I loved the trip! But it would’ve been so much better if I have known to prepare for seasickness.

5.00Good size boat, very knowledgeable and polite crew. We saw humpback whales and a blue whale! They just meed to fix their outside speakers.
