A great trip. Informative and well presented by Duncan. Some bleak times undoubtedly but Duncan will present some lighter moments, visit and enjoy!

Great trip. Duncan was very informative offering a good insight to the conditions inside and outside the shelter. Hard times certainly but with some light relief for those spending hours on end in the shelter. Duncan made it entertaining as well but you will have to visit to check this out ! We enjoyed it as did our 2 grandchildren (13 & 8 ) ,

The tour was excellent. Duncan was very knowledgeable and very entertaining with a few little surprises. Our grand children 8 and 12 enjoyed it as well. Very educational. We all had a great few hours.

Theresa did a brilliant tour; I liked how it was done as a discussion, which I think is perfect, as it keeps everyone engaged, allows different topics to be covered, and everyone gets to ask questions. I liked how the shelter isn't glorified, how it was a very practical solution at the time, with the understanding that it was abandoned as soon as it wasn't needed. I asked Theresa a few questions, and got fantastic answers. I also really appreciated when Theresa said she didn't know something (that gave me confidence that all of the information given was well researched). The *only* problem is that I can't remember everything that was said, so I'll have to go back again :-)

My brother booked this tour for my dad’s birthday and being completely honest I thought it was going to be boring. HOWEVER I absolutely loved it!!! It was so lovely to see how passionate Duncan is about the history of Bristol in the Blitz. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour! Highly recommend to anyone! I live in Weston and my brother lives in Bristol, it really isn’t just for tourists! Go! You won’t be disappointed!

This was a fabulous tour for all generations - preteen children, parents and grandparents all in attendance and loved it! Duncan has so much passion for the air raid shelter and Bristol history and his charisma made this an afternoon to remember. We all learned many new facts about the blitz and Bristol history. Thank you Duncan!

A great way to spend two hours & learn about Bristol in the blitz. Duncan was very knowledgeable & the shelter & artefacts fascinating. Being such an impotant part of Bristols history its a shame this isnt promoted more by the powers that be!
