Picking you up from your accommodation throughout Airlie Beach, we head up to the highest lookout vista giving you a jaw dropping view over the incredible Coral Sea with its famous blue waters and islands. Sit back in air conditioned comfort a we drive 45 minutes north through the cane fields and mountain ranges with great music and commentary.
Dingo Beach
A leisurely 45-minute drive north we venture to Dingo Beach, a hidden coastal gem known for its serene atmosphere and pristine sandy shores. A local favourite where you can relax with its shady park and long white sandy beach. Driving around the corner we stroll along the coral and sandy beach which showcases its volcanic history with fascinating rock formations. Choose to enjoy a 10-minute beach stroll to secluded Nelly’s Bay or drive. Keep your eyes out for marine life including turtles which frequent the area. Dingo Beach offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle.

5.00Cherene was absolutely amazing! I would highlight recommend this tour for anyone who wants to explore some of the most beautiful beaches in the Whitsundays region. Cherene was extremely welcoming, made the tour personalized and thought about every little detail. Would do this 100000000 times again.

5.00This tour is a must for anyone wanting to escape the crowds of Airlie Beach. Visiting Cape Gloucester and Dingo Beach felt like a day out with a knowledgeable local friend rather than a standard tour. Our guide was incredible—expertly sharing insights on the local birdlife and plants while leadings us to stunning hidden beaches. She kept the group setting intimate, provided a lovely snack after a scenic walk on a beach where we felt like the only visitors! We never felt rushed and truly appreciated the personalized attention. Highly recommended for an authentic coastal experience!

5.00Everyone that visits Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays should do a Driftwood Tour with Sherene. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed the Coastal Beaches Escape to Dingo Beach and Cape Gloucester. Sherene was a joy, running ahead to turn on the air cond in her shuttle, providing noodles for the pool, organising cocktails and ensuring we were never rushed. The small group size means Sherene can share her immense knowledge of the area, wildlife, plants, sugar cane and particular love of photography and colours of the land, sea and sky. Nothing was too much trouble and the lunch and swim at the Cape Gloucester Resort was a great end. I only wish we had done the tour at the beginning of our week in Airlie. Thanks Sherene xo

5.00Our best time in the region was the Driftwood Coastal Beaches tour with Cherene. Dingo Beach, Nelly's Bay, Froggy's, Hydeaway, and Cape Gloucester were all highlights. Fantastic lunch, cocktails and a laze in the Cape Gloucester Resort pool. Cherene has amazing knowledge of the area and it's flora, fauna, and geology. We were astounded that we had all this natural beauty to ourselves. Definitely would recommend a tour with Cherene to anyone and if we had more time would take another tour with her.

5.00⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Driftwood Tours Whitsundays – Coastal Beaches Adventure Tour Thanks, Cherene, for showing us the real Whitsundays from such a unique perspective! Your knowledge and stories about the area were outstanding — and the views were absolutely breathtaking. We joined the Coastal Beaches Adventure Tour, and what an incredible day it was. From Airlie Beach to Cannonvale Beach, Dingo Beach, Hydeaway Bay, and Froggies Beach — every stop offered something special. Lunch at Cape Gloucester Resort was delicious, and we even managed a quick drink (or two!) at Montes Reef Resort before heading back. A full-day adventure that’s well worth every dollar. Highly recommend Driftwood Tours for anyone wanting to experience the Whitsundays beyond the usual tourist spots! Karen & Tony Teague.

5.00This tour takes you places you can't just walk to or catch a shuttle to, a different experience for people who have already done a lot of Snorkelling tours and Cherene is knowledgeable and passionate about the area and makes the tour more interesting. The places we visited were beautiful and remote, but with a great pub and bar/cafe

5.00Chereen took us to out of the way beaches and showed us some amazing scenery.She is also a wealth of knowledge about the area. The day was very relaxing and we ended up at Cape Gloucester where we had a yummy lunch. I highly recommend this tour not just to solo travellers but also to families.

5.00A lovely day out. Cherene was knowledgeable and passionate about the area. She communicated well prior to the tour, as I was solo and minimum numbers were not met, she contacted me to see if I was able to change the date. It was great to see some different off the beaten track beaches, and lunch and a swim at Cape Gloucester

5.00We had a wonderful time with Cherene. She is friendly and has a great knowledge about the area. One of the best tours we have been on. To finish the day with a beautiful view,delicious prawns and cocktails at Cape Gloucester resort was awesome.
