On this tour, we fly over the colorful area of Kjós located at the head of Mosárdalur glacier valley on our way to the highest peak in Iceland, Hvannadalshnjúkur (2116m). Then we continue over Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon, featuring huge floating icebergs. Along the way, You will enjoy the views of Breiðamerkurjökull glacier and Esjufjöll Mountains before heading back.

So worth it! They were incredibly accomodating to get me on a flight. The terminal is really modern and the aircraft was very powerful, take-off was fun! This is such a great place to be in a plane - there are so many glaciers we saw, as well as climbing up to Vatnajokull Glacier which we could see stretching out until the horizon! We flew through valleys with mountain peaks and ridges at eye level beside us and right down close to the amazing textures and colours of the glaciers. We finished with a flight over the massive Jökulsárlón Glacier and Lake. Aron our pilot took us to the best spots, told us all about the area and the glaciers and was professional and friendly.

Our flight was amazing! The Highlight of our trip to iceland! the Pilot told us many informative Facts about the glacier during the flight. the flight itself was simply amazing! the sight from above is incredible! if you really want to see the glacier, you have to do it from above! for anxious guests: we felt really safe and the plane was quite calm! the company also checks the weather a few day before the flight and gives an update - if maybe another day would be better!

My husband and I booked this flight to have a look from above. Right from the start, everyone at the office was great. We asked about local hiking and Stefan offered great advice. Next day we went up for a flight and the sights blew our minds. If you go to Skaftafell and don’t do this, did you really even see the glacier? The answer is no. This glacier is unbelievable. Do what Nike says, just do it!!
