On this tour, we fly to the west of Skaftafell in Vatnajökull National Park, over the vast ice sheet of Skeiðarárjökull and to Grænalón glacial lake. From there we fly west over Síðujökull glacier before flying over the Lakagígar volcano craters. On the way back we go southeast along the edge of Skeiðarárjökull where you will get a panoramic view of its massive size.

We ended up doing a chopper tour instead due to wind. It was excellent for taking photos out of back left window. Very smooth ride and professional pilot.

An amazing experience. Was originally scheduled to fly over Laki, however the weather was not cooperating, so they flew us over the glacier instead. You don't know what a glacier (and the iceberg lagoon) is until you've flown over it. At low altitude. While doing steep banks. The pilot was skilled and flew the airplane safely without making it boring. The airplane itself was in great shape and I felt confident in its safety. It was worth every penny that it cost!

This was definitely the best experience we had in Iceland! Seeing all its marvelous sceneries from above, with such helpful, flexible and kind crew was the highlight of our trip. Would recommend to everyone!

We flew out of Skaftafell. The pilot was knowledgeable of the surrounding area. We had the most beautiful views of the glacier and craters. Simply stunning.
