This is one of our most photogenic tours. We fly over the coastline and Skeiðarársandur, a vast plain of black sand and ash covered with numerous small rivulets. It spans the entire range between the glacier and the sea. From there we fly over Skeiðarárjökull, a massive outlet glacier draining south from Iceland´s largest ice cap Vatnajökull.

5.00We joined a 30-minutes air tour above glaciers and it was a truly mesmerising experience! The guide was incredible and very informative, and the views were just SOMETHING! I totally recommend you to join the tour if you are in Skaftaftell area - because this is the best way to see and enjoy the glacier views and the land around it!

5.00Now here is something you need to splurge on! We had a wonderful tour with our very safe and experienced pilot, brand new helicopter and what can we say about beautiful Iceland!

5.00We came 5 friends. Photographers. The flight was amazing and we had the chance to shoot many things that we could never shoot from the land.. The company alerted us two days before the flight that the weather will be bad and suggested we change the flight schedule. We did so and came a day earlier The pilot was very kind and explained about the flight and what we will see. We had a great time.. I wish I will be able to do it again sometime..
