5.00Arrived in Puerto Princesa and went to get a taxi, only to find it was an hour and a half away! My bad for not checking, but as it stated Puerto Princesa I thought it would be local. The taxi cost was 4000 pesos but still cheaper than the 5500 for the hotel transport. On arrival the journey was well worth it, beautiful hotel, amazing reception from the staff and magnificent pool. Arriving at night headed to the restaurant, only one available with a limited menu. The security had actually told me everything was closed outside the hotel. After dinner I ventured along the beach and found a few restaurants/bars. Here I asked about the World Heritage underwater river and they bought tickets for me 1500 pesos, later I heard of people paying up to 3500 per head. Thanks guys! Just a few steps past this bar, (Red Turtle), is the Main Street and the port area, lots of bars and restaurants and a beautiful church. If I can not write a review for The Red Turtle, please visit this bar (Joy and team thanks for the Boodlefight, it was amazing) Ask them to prepare this for you, they will be delighted.
