The pickup service involves a private driver picking you up at the Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose and driving you to your destination in Tamarindo, a popular beach town on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The pickup vehicle is typically a comfortable and air-conditioned minivan or SUV that can accommodate your luggage and travel group. During the approximately 4-5 hour drive, you can enjoy the scenic views of the Costa Rican countryside and coastline while your driver takes care of the driving. The drive from Guanacaste to SJO can change a lot based on traffic. Our recommendation is to leave 8 hours before your flight, this way we will not be in a hurry. If are arriving at SJO airport, you will find us with a sign with your name on it and the logo of our company.

5.00They took us to and from the airport. Drivers were timely, skilled and friendly offered us beer or water. One of the nights we were there they also drove us to flamingo Marina, then to Tamarindo for dinner from JW Marriott I highly recommend this company

5.00Anthony was great ! He's not just a driver but an extremely knowledgeable guide as well. He was communcative and proud to share information about his country's history and culture during our airport transfer. I would have booked tours with him, but I had already resevered other activities. I did book my return transfer with him and will use his company for tours on my next trip to Tamarindo. I have used numerous airport transfers, and I can honestly say this company is Above and Beyond. On-time, welcoming, provided updates,etc

5.00Omg!!! The best decision we ever made was hiring Anthony to be out travel guide extraordinaire. Every single excursion we went on was PERFECT! From getting us from the airport, to taking us all around, Anthony and his team are truly the very best. He guided us every step of the way and made sure we had the best time. 10/10 would recommend him to anyone and everyone traveling to Costa Rica

5.00Anthony was awesome! Super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Was a great start to our vacation. On our way to Tamarindo we stopped for lunch and a coffee tasting which was delicious! I highly recommend Anthony and we will definitely use him again when we return!

5.00Anthony is fantastic! He picked us up from Liberia airport. He used photos and texts in WhatsApp to make communication easy. He has a beautiful passion for CR and such amazing knowledge. He was prompt, fun and accommodating. We used him for other transportation in the area. And he gave us EXCELLENT recommendations of area restaurants and attractions. I highly recommend On The Road Costa Rica!

5.00Anthony started as our airport transfer from San Jose to Tamarindo. He was friendly, pleasant and very knowledgeable. He made the long ride very enjoyable! We stopped for lunch at one of his recommended restaurants and it was a great place. We called on Anthony for a day of sightseeing in which she drove us to an estuary boat tour and then took us around Tamarindo. We walked to his recommended shops and heard much about the history of Costa Rica and Tamarindo. He is very insightful and quite interesting to listen to for such a young person. We then had a great experience at an outdoor by the beach restaurant that he recommended. Anthony also drove us to one of our tours at Hacienda. On our way home we stopped for dinner at yet again another wonderful restaurant recommendation with Anthony. I give him the highest of recommendations and the next time I head to Costa Rica, he is my first phone call!
