Do Eat Better Experience Aix-en-Provence Food Tour is a walking tour around the old town. You will be guided by a Local Expert who's able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and any other relevant curiosities.
You will start the tour with a guided tasting of truffle based products, also known as the "black diamond of Provence". Then sample a charcuterie board with a glass of refreshing wine. After having learned everything about the precious truffle, get ready to taste it as one of the key ingredients of a must of the french cuisine, the Croque Monsieur. To end with a sweet note, we will show you one of the most delicious and historical pastry shops in Aix en Provence

A wonderful food tour

5.00Our guide was Suzanne, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. We stopped 4 times and clearly the equivalent of a meal (or two), including two glasses of local wine each. We went in Market Day, which made it even more entertaining. Ask for Suzanne if you can. She was perfect.

5.00Renaud was our guide for just the two of us. He took us for a tour around Aix for the first hour, and told us all about the city and its history. This was long enough to build up an appetite for our meal. The first course was spent outside in the town square and then we moved on to a super restaurant with a roof top terrace. We then chose our dessert at a patisserie. Renaud would leave us to enjoy our meals and then magically reappear when we moved on for the next course. He then sent us tips of places to eat at and see for the rest of our stay. The tour was good value and we would highly recommend it. Thank you, Renaud for a super day.

5.00We took this tour as a first in our time in Aix. We had a wonderful walk through the city with many highlights pointed out along the way as well as brief history as we walked. The truffle shop is not to be missed! In addition to scheduled tastings, other favorite foodie spots were pointed out to us as we walked. We feel well prepared to explore more on our own. 5.00This was a great tour! This was our first day in Aix-en-Provence, and a delicious way to get a lay of the land. Our guide, Thaís, was extremely knowledgeable with the history of the area as well as the best food spots- it was like getting two tours at once! The recommendations she gave us were also much appreciated.
