Tours with Coldwater Alaska are catered to our passengers, customized to what they would like to see. Our boats only carry up to six passengers which provides a great personal experience while enjoying their time on the water. Kachemak Bay State Park

Take a 2-hour (or longer) trip out on the water, catered to whatever your interests might be. Go see humpback and orca whales, birds, sea otters, or just check out the landscape as you cruise into deeper bays that push up against mountains and waterfalls. You can even choose what time of day to go. Are you into photography? Tailer your trip, depart early morning or late evening to capture images in the best light.

Very nice 2 hour tour with a small group in a nice small boat. Beautiful scenery, plus eagles, many birds, sea otters, a porpoise; just not a good time of year for whales unfortunately. Dress warm and you might get water spray up front when the boat is moving fast which adds to the fun adventure. You can also sit inside if you wish. We are very glad we did this tour.

We had a great time on the wildlife tour with Ben. It was a beautiful day and we saw lots of birds and otters along with amazing scenery. Ben is very knowledgeable about the area. Can’t wait to come back!

Captain Ben gave a great and very knowledgeable wildlife tour. Saw a lot and learned a lot. Would definitely recommend this trip if you want to see some great scenery and wildlife. We will be doing this trip again.

Saw so much wildlife on a short tour. Couldn’t count all of the otters. Tons of birds. Great boat and super crew. Small tour group made this even better. Will definitely do this tour again.

Captain Ben did a great job. We saw whales, sea otters, and plenty of birds including puffins. I highly recommend taking this wildlife tour with Coldwater AK.

The 2-person crew on our morning trip across the bay from the Homer Spit did a great job. We were treated to multiple sightings of Orcas, Sea Otters, and Puffins along with other sea birds. My only problem is that a tour that was advertised as having a maximum of 6 travelers had more than twice that many onboard. This made it a bit crowded and we had to constantly jockey for position. The description of the tour’s capacity on TripAdvisor should accurately represent what travelers will experience.

Beautiful calm day for viewing otters and sea lions. Loved bird island to see the puffins and common murre.

Zach and Alex were excellent captain/crew guides on our Kachemak Bay sea safari for 2 hours! We saw birds, including tufted puffins, sea otters and harbor seals and great rock formations and gorgeous mountain/island scenery. Super lucky with a sunny day to show it all off in blues and greens. Great time and highly recommend!

2 young women as captain and guide. They were exceptional! Took us to places they knew the wildlife hung out, offered their binoculars to us, boat ride was exhilarating. Many many otters, and puffins, and a whale as well! Had a wonderful time. Small boat. Just a handful of us, and so much incredible scenery. Must do!!!
