The trip itself was ok but the rudeness of the staff particularly the bus driver spoilt it. Not only was he very unclear but when I asked for clarification he shouted at me. The trip could also have been better organised, there were times when it was very confusing. Albania was lovely but I wouldn't book again with this company as they seem to treat customers with contempt

Not helpful at all! Couldn't do the trip and no refunds either! Left alone with two children to find a way back to the hotel!

I had a great time visiting Albania and Butrint National Park. The ruins are very interesting and it is set back in a Forrest. The guides are brilliant and direct you and give lots of information. The walk can be difficult for some and the paths are very stony, so could easily trip if not paying attention. The boat doesn’t take long at all, and plenty of seats with a shop to buy beers, drinks and snacks. There is a one off 20 Euro tax when you get onto the boat this is paid to cover the journey there and back. Shout out to the lady on the boat, she was very helpful and informative. You also get lunch in a nice Forrest setting, drinks are extra and they prefer payment in Euros as do most of the places in Albania. On the return to the port side, you get around and hour to explore before heading back. When you arrive back at the Corfu port and go through customs, the return coaches all have the hotels listed on their windscreens, so look out for that. Also, I had an issue in that on my ticket it said 8:45 however my pick up was 6:10am, so the operator very kindly changed the day to the day afterwards at no extra cost, 10/10 for customer service. But please make sure you check the times on the Viator website messages section or junk email in box. Overall great experience, and I would recommend.

Everything was well organized, from the beginning to the end. Perhaps a tip when you arrive at the port: look for the employee(s) outside before you go to the entrance at the pink building, because that person must first give you a boarding pass to pass through customs. Otherwise a fantastic trip! Boat trip: lovely! Bus ride to Butrint passes even faster thanks to the guide's very detailed explanation of Albania. The tour in Butrint: instructive, good explanations, very interesting archaeological remains (especially for me, as a classical philologist)! The lunch break in Sarandë: blissful and certainly sufficient! Luckily not that much time left before we had to go back to the boat, because Sarandë itself is not really worth it (an hour is really real enough). In short: this trip is highly recommended!

TOUR IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! Amazing guide (sorry forgot name) with lots of historic information. Very professional and well run. Timing was well done…even had time for a swim at the nearby beach (closest one to the beach is a pebble beach, which I appreciated so I wasn’t bringing sand with me on the ferry). Yes, you go through customs twice. Yes, it takes time. But nothing extraordinary. Ps: bring water. Or bring 1 euro and buy it on the ferry. You will need it. And it’s a good amount of walking. FYI. Albania is amazing…it is a growing tourist site. So go now. ☺️
