After visiting Muir Woods & Sausalito, our driver/guide will bring you to Pier 33, Alcatraz landing.

A headset with an Audio guide in one of 11 languages is included.

You will catch the Ferry to Alcatraz and spend your time there. After the tour, the Ferry will bring you back to Pier 33.

The driver in the bus narrates in English. In Muir Woods, they give our flyers in English, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin. When he brings you to the boat that takes you to Alcatraz, they give you audio guides in 12 different languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Mandarin.

Palace of Fine Arts Theatre

On your way, you will pass by The Palace of Fine Arts which was built for Panama-Pacific International Exposition held in San Francisco in 1915 to celebrate the completion of the Panama Canal, but it was widely seen in the city as an opportunity to showcase its recovery from the 1906 earthquake.

The tour guide was very nice and gave us the history of the areas but basically just got us from one place to the other. We were on our own otherwise. We stopped a a few spots along the way with great view of Golden Gate Bridge. Muir Woods is beautiful and very worth going to. Sausalito was a cute area but we only had about an hour there, enough time to eat lunch OR shop. Would have appreciated a bit more time there. We were dropped off for the ferry to Alcatraz with over an hour to wait but we luckily were able to catch the ferry early. Alcatraz was worth seeing, very hilly but they have a golf cart like vehicle if you need it. Ferry ride was nice. Overall this was a good experience

Alcatraz is so interesting. Muir Woods was mystical! Sausalito was beautiful. Michael was a very informative guide.

Good way to see several sites on one tour. It does take you across the Golden Gate Bridge. Tour was overall well organized. The only concern was the fact that if if you do the Alcatraz add-on instead of dropping you off at the port the guy drops you off at the original pick up site and you have to walk several blocks to do the Alcatraz tour. Very short time to try and eat in Sausalito.

Very enjoyable well informed guide ,shame Alcatraz was closed but woods were a wonderful experience and would do again if we come back,transport could have been bigger

Our tour guide, Jerrick, is very knowledgeable not only with the place but the history as well. Right away he informed us what to expect, and along the tour, constantly giving us tips to maximize it. In alcatraz, always start from the main floor so you can have the headset as guiding tiur. We started from the top since we ride on their service car, no chance to get a headset.

If doing the afternoon Alcatraz tour, you will be dropped to the Pier area about an hour and a half beforehand as the morning tour returns at approximately 12.30.

The trip was amazing. Vlad gave more information than I’d had on 2 previous tours. He played photographer for me since I traveled solo. The Muir Woods and Sausalito are a must see. The stop at Golden Gate Bridge had gorgeous views. The private pickups and drop off at hotel made trip even better. I highly recommend.
