This tour includes both the Alcázar and the Cathedral, as well as a stroll around the city centre.
Among other things I will take you to Plaza Nueva, where the town hall is, which features a statue of king Ferdinand III of Castile, who conquered the city in 1248.
Then we will go to Plaza del Salvador, a very popular square (which is a meeting point for many Sevillians!), where we have the largest church in town after the Cathedral.
Finally we will see the wooden structure popularly known as “las Setas” (“the mushrooms”!). If you want you can get to the top from where you can have nice views of the city.

5.00Thank you Sophia for your professionalism, thoroughness and thoughtfulness! We chose her because of the exceptional reviews and were not disappointed. Sophia is very organized and flexible too. We had a very informative tour at a good pace for 4.5 hours. She is very helpful with advice before and after the tour. Her recommendation for flamenco was spot on, as it was the best dance show in Spain! We highly recommend Sophia to anyone who wants to experience Seville culture, history and sightseeing!

5.00Sofia is amazing! She communicated with us well before we arrived in Seville. On the day of our tour she met us promptly at the designated time in the lobby of our hotel and provided an extensive overview of the sights along the way to the Cathedral, Alcazar, Maria Luisa Park, and Plaza de Sevilla. She is very knowledgeable, engaging, warm and friendly. The tour was all we hoped for and more.

5.00We had Sofia for a private tour of Seville sights including Alcazar. We started in the morning before it got too hot. Sofia is wonderfully engaging, knowledgeable about the historical details of every building and artefact. She is thoughtful about the needs and physical abilities of her clients and truly everything one could ask for in a guide. Alcazar would not have been nearly as enjoyable had it not been Sofia's efforts and knowledge. She had purchased our tickets in advance and so we could breeze through without waiting in lines. Best of all she took some wonderful pictures of us- these will be our memories of a trip of our lifetime.

5.00Sofia is an excellent tour guide. She met us at our hotel and led us through the city center, the Jewish Quarter, to the cathedral, to the Alcazar, on to the park de Maria Louisa, and finally to the Plaza de España. Sofia has excellent command of the English language - the very best of all guides we have had on our 18 day trip. She is extremely knowledgeable of the history of Spain and had great detail to share with us in each place we visited. Sofia is personable and kind. Related well to my husband and I and also to our daughter. She shared personal experiences and interests such as her favorite futbol team and how she would celebrate an upcoming festival with her family. Sofia was also very observant and friendly. She spoke to all staff at the sites and was very kind. She took us through the sites quickly but thoroughly. Since we had an interest in horticulture, she offered to take us through her favorite park on the way to the plaza. At the end of our tour, she gave us a very kind gift and found a taxi for us. She ensured that the driver knew which restaurant we wanted to go to and sent us on our way. Following our visit, Sofia sent pictures that she took of the three of us. It was great to have her input on where the best photo spots were along the way.
