The origin of the Real Alcazar of Seville dates from the time of the High Middle Ages, although some areas of Islamic art that impress with its delicacy are preserved. In any case, Mudejar art and Gothic style predominate, but Renaissance and Baroque elements were added later.
Over the centuries, it has been the residence of the members of the Spanish Royal Family in Seville. Even today, it remains for the exclusive use of royalty, except for tourist visits.
This complex includes many wonderful features. The quaintest is the Patio de las Doncellas, with its ponds that reflect the intricate mudéjar plasterwork for which this palace is known for.

5.00We met our tour guide at the office. Which is next to Ale hop. So just look for the cow. (If you know you know) Our guide was very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend.

5.00Loura was very informative , running an English language tour with at least 4 different nationalities. Tour ran on time and was very interesting. At the end we could stay , grab a coffee , wander the gardens and revisit anything of interest.

5.00This was a really enjoyable tour. Alvero, our guide was absolutely brilliant. He spoke excellent English, was extremely informative and included a fair amount of humour into his cometary which made the tour even more enjoyable and not just a dry history lesson. I can highly recommended.
