Experience a world of contraband and corruption at Alcotraz, the world's first immersive, prison-themed cocktail bar. Don an orange jumpsuit, navigate hidden cell blocks, and enjoy specially tailored cocktails while keeping your contraband liquor hidden from the corrupt guards and the prying eyes of The Warden. Immerse yourself at the ‘bar behind bars’, where the serving inmates are your bartenders, the guards are crooked and you become a part of the story. Bring your own bottle of liquor and work with the guards to keep it hidden from the Warden. See your smuggled liquor transformed into 4 bespoke cocktails in front of your very own eyes. Receive your identity and backstory in a fully-immersive experience with real metallic cells, orange jumpsuits, and more.

Such an entertaining night out, really fun and full of surprises! The actors do a fantastic job and the bar staff made some of the best cocktails I've ever tasted!

Very enjoyable fun with a group of friends, some of the cocktails were sickly sweet but we told the staff and they were happy to do something else for us, the 1hr 3/4s went by quickly with lots of laughs along the way, it did get a bit raucous and noisy at times with lots of shouting and swearing - this didn't bother me but if you don't like this kind of boisterous fun maybe it's not for you, but I'd recommend this to my mates if they're looking for a different experience in the town centre

The best night out. Experience day and some. This was absolutely amazing. I didn’t know what to expect but it was absolutely fantastic! Would hugely recommend.

Super fun space with amazing actors and staff. Drinks were delicious Would recommend it to my family and friends Although I didn't buy enough spaces the team were super helpful in organising another space on the day. Very professional

Really good fun! Absolutely adored the acting, especially from Wilma. She's hilarious and made us feel very welcomed (in a prison sort of way). We had a minor booking hiccup (our fault) and the management was incredibly understanding while we sorted it out. Drinks were delicious! Would recommend to friends. The only thing I would say is that I am hard of hearing and struggled with some of the dialogue between the actors, especially when they were faced away from me. Other than that, no complaints!

We really didn’t know what to expect but when we got there all the fun kicked off I think it was better going without any expectations. I can’t say how much we all enjoyed it. We haven’t stopped talking about it was a great laugh but you have to get involved in joining the fun And take plenty of soup with you Contraband was an amazing night recommended to anybody

Improvisation and interaction with the actors was fun. Actually nice that quite a few other people were there for atmosphere (maybe 30 locked up in total). The first half of each cocktail was delicious, but then quickly became too sweet / acidic and not well balanced. A few of us didn't finish our last cocktail by the end of the booking because of this and taking part in activities, but there was nowhere to stand for ten minutes so had to just down it by the back door while being jostled by staff to leave. A really poorly managed ending that marred our lasting impression. A very novel way to spend a few hours, but slightly too expensive for the quality.
A great time, wasn’t sure it was my sort of thing but I’m glad I did it. Would recommend the experience to others

The crowd was great, we had a really energetic group with us which made it a fun experience. The staff were amazing they played their parts well and didn’t break character. We received 4 different types of cocktails, which were all great!

Just wanted to shout out to the team including skinny Willy, the warden, Cassidy and Tiny. We really enjoyed our time on 22/12/25. Tiny made some incredible cocktails and the evening was really well acted. Well done all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a wonderful time with hubby and friends. The cocktails were amazing but not good if you’re a diabetic 😳. The actors were great and made you feel a part of the show
