Along the serene waterfront, we’ll talk about some of Norway’s remarkable engineering feats : floating bridges, submerged road tunnels, and the world’s first full-scale ship tunnel. We’ll also touch on how the country’s oil and gas industry helps fund these impressive projects.
Next, we turn our attention to Ålesund’s Art Nouveau architecture, reconstructed after the devastating fire of 1904. King’s Street boasts the city’s highest concentration of these ornate, symbolic buildings, showcasing both optimism and international influences.

We loved our tour. My family including my sons ages 15,13 and 11 really enjoyed our walking tour. We loved everything from the architecture, history of the city, information on Norwegian taxes and energy as well as the local connection for best pizza and cinnamon rolls. We felt like we could ask Lucas anything. Highly recommend.
