The Alhambra

This is a complete visit to the Alhambra (tickets included): for about 2.5-3 hours we will show you what is considered by many as the most impressive monument in Spain. We will start by visiting the Generalife, an area of beautiful gardens and orchards where the Sultan had a palace that was used for personal enjoyment. After the Generalife, we will go to see the Palace of Charles V, a Christian palace in the heart of the Alhambra that will not leave you indifferent. In the Alcazaba, the defensive-military zone, we will be lucky enough to enjoy what are probably the best views of the city, and finally, we will visit the Nasrid palaces, the center of political and bureaucratic administration of the kingdom of Granada.

We were 2 couples and had booked a weekend Granada and then a tour Alhambra should not be missed. We are not big culture sniffers so wanted a private tour because we can set the pace ourselves. We got Laura as a guide, sweet, smooth young lady who studied history at university and is an archaeologist. So we were in good hands and she felt perfect. The communication with the organization also ran smoothly and we also received valuable tips for other highlights in Granada. Overall a must. 🫶

Alhambra was the final stop on our tour of Spain and something my husband was really looking forward to, so we decided to invest in a guide for to get the most out of it and it was definitely worth it. Our guide, Matías, was wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable about the whole site, and you could tell her really loved the history of the area. The tour lasted three hours and we saw the Alcazar, gardens and palace. Matías walked us through the site chronology and talked about the cultural reasons behind the design and site expansion. He also had supporting materials to explain the construction and artistry behind different architectural elements. We had plenty of time to take photos, and he even advised us on the best place for photos of different spaces (and of course helped us take photos so we could both be in them). Just a delightful way to spend the day with an expert guide. We got so much more out of our visit through the tour - would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience. Eduardo was an excellent host and guide. He is very knowledgeable not only in the history of Alhambra but also the greater region. I think the best part was Eduardo’s sincere enthusiasm about the craftsmanship and decorative designs. I highly recommend this tour and Eduardo as a guide (and his English is excellent).

Absolutely amazing! I hardly give 5stars but Ruth (our you guide) deserves even a 6th one. She is a very knowledgeable historian. Also, we were tired amid the tour and she happily allowed us to take a break. Absolutely loved Ruth.

My entire family enjoyed the tour tremendously despite the cold and rain. This was not only because Alhambra is magnificent, but the history came alive with by Carlos' (our tour guide) knowledge and enthusiasm. He was passionate of the history. He not only answered all our different individual questions, but he put it into the context of Alhambra for a more meaningful tour. Carlos was also very patient with our pace. He is a true professional and a great guide.
