From the moment we got on the bus at the cruise port to an on time return our driver, Ash, was great! As young as he was we were very surprised at his wealth of knowledge of all things Normandy and WORLD WAR II. While this bus trip is 2 hours from Le Havre it was so worth the distance. To stand on the ground where our boys (you can’t call them men because some were just 16 years old) scaled the cliffs in terrible weather to face the German soldiers was an experience I cannot explain. Walking on Omaha beach, visiting the German and American cemeteries brought the enormity of Normandy to our hearts! Our tour also provided a tasty lunch to eat as we traveled! I would definitely recommend you don’t miss this opportunity!

This was a very heavy day. It is something I think everyone should do at least once in your life. Our tour guide was amazing and really brought the day to life for us.

Cold, windy and rainy on this July day. Excellent guide. Very little caffeine available during the tour. Lunch was decent and bus was good.

We highly recommend this Excellent tour! We had Bertie as our guide and he was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and shared many great testimonials. We went to 6 places in the Omaha sector and had time for a quick lunch. We visited the German cemetery, Pointe Du Hoc, Omaha beach and walked in the sand, Green sector, Overlord museum and gift shop and ended our day at the American cemetery at Omaha where we got to watch the flag lowering cemetery. It was a wonderful and educational experience that we will never forget.

Tour was excellent. This is an extremely difficult area to revisit but so important in historic regards.
