Taboga Island is the best option to go to the beach from Panama City. Getting to the meeting point from the city centre takes between 15 and 30 minutes without any traffic jams depending on where you are leaving. Weekdays count between 40 and 50 minutes depending on where you leave. Tell the driver to go through Coastal Ribbon 3.

Isla Taboga
The island of Taboga is located about twenty kilometers off the coast of Panama City in the Pacific Ocean. The activity starts at 8:45am (check-in 30 minutes before). We sail to the back of Taboga Island and on the way you can see the Bridge of the Americas, the Amador Causeway and Panama Bay. Greetings in an unspoilt bay around 10:45am. Guests take advantage of the sea and the sun to bathe and relax until lunchtime. Musical atmosphere and open bar all day. At 11:45am we started sailing to the main beach and the town of Taboga.
Isla Taboga
We greet the main beach and the town of Taboga at around 12:15pm. We serve lunch in the catamaran with table service in tableware (no plastic). After lunch around 1pm, guests have the option to go down to the island to visit the village and take advantage of the beach or continue enjoying the catamaran. At 3:15pm we picked up customers who went down to the island and started sailing back to Panama City. Musical atmosphere and open bar all day. Disembark at 5pm.

5.00We had an amazing time! I truly appreciate their hospitality and kindness. We had a lot of laughs and the places we went were amazing!! We got to swim in the ocean near an island and then the second stop was at a beach on the other side of the ocean. The food was good, but most of all the crew was awesome!

4.00The trip was fun. The crew was attentive and friendly. Must bring some snacks because they on feed you lunch. Taboga island wasn’t something for me. Lots of run down shanty’s and stray dogs in the beach. We returned to the boat and just relaxed like we set to when booking this trip.

5.00The crew was pretty cool, the views were great! We enjoyed our time on this excursion. This review is a week after our trip so I’m forgetting names. But we had a brief history lesson about the island and a fun Q&A time. Lunch was not bad at all. The water was amazing and much needed as it was a very hot day. We felt safe and in good hands during the entire time.

5.00The crew about our ship was awesome! The Manga is a beautiful boat, with space to spread out and the number of people was not too many. We met and chatted with people from all over which was fun. The music was always lively and the lunch…. So good! There was no rush to anything that day. We swam, toured the island and got amazing views of the city and tankers waiting to get into the canal. The captain and crew were super nice and friendly. They danced and told jokes and kept everyone in good spirits.

5.00Five stars! We loved our experience with our hosts, Rica, Miguel, and Matthew. Lunch and open bar were really nice and the sites were so beautiful! Would absolutely recommend, especially if you can go on a weekday.

5.00When we first arrived, we were very confused because there were no indicators to determine where we were supposed to be going. There were a ton of army men standing around and none of them spoke any English. Eventually we found one of the host. The catamaran was so much fun. The hosts were fun, the food they served was pretty good and the drinks were non stop. When we got to Taboga Island, there was a lot of trash in the water so we did not want to get in but we were able to swim at the first stop and the water was beautiful there. We rented ATVs when we arrived and rode to the top of the island and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. We got to see the entire island from up there. I would recommend anyone to rent the ATVs and be sure to rent them for an hour.
