Sigiriya Museum
The museum is very educational which gives great background information. It depicts photograph galleries of excavations that took place in the Sigiriya fortress rock. Each gallery will give you a splendid exposure to explore the cultural heritage of Sigiriya rock. The museum was designed around the giant trees, and the museum is a classic example of Sri Lankan green building technology. The museum is also circled from natural water springs. The museum comprises of 3 levels. It is designed according to standards existing in the rock.
Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress
This amazing fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known as the 8th wonder of the world. Sigiriya was built by the fifth-century king Kashyapa I, who ruled the native Sinhalese dynasty, the Moriya. The imposing fortress was the capital of the Sinhalese kingdom until Kashyapa was defeated in A.D. 495. The ancient palace is located on top of the rock, surrounded by beautiful gardens and water pools and the technology used to build the palace is still a mystery.

5.00I recently toured Sigiriya and Dambulla with Gayan as our driver. visited the Dambulla Cave Temple and Sigiriya Rock Fortress. The intricate cave statues and vibrant frescoes were captivating. Climbing Sigiriya Rock offered breathtaking views and a glimpse into ancient history. Gayan’s excellent driving skills and local knowledge made the experience even better. The tour company provided amazing service and plenty of snacks, which added to the enjoyment of the trip. Highly recommended

5.00I had an absolutely perfect day with several breathtaking views and experiences. Shaminda is not only a perfect guide, who makes sure the whole tour will be just the experience you imagine, but also will be you friend not only during the tour. From the frist meet, I immediately feld super welcome and it was more like a trip with a friend, than with a guide. He took absolutely good care of me and made sure, the whole experience was just the way I wanted it. No matter if it was a longer stay at a location, or skipping the last event, because I was just too exhausted. If you're searching for a really good tour, I would always recommend joining him.

5.00Fantastic day tour from start to finish. Climbing Sigiriya Rock was challenging but the views were worth it - such amazing history. Then on to the elephants in the wild jeep tour - AMAZING! Lots of elephants and really close up. Excellent lunch and then on to the Dambulla temple also amazing. Our guide Vidu was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and very helpful - also very accommodating with times and places to see

5.00This was by far one of the best trips I had in a while! I’ve traveled over 40 countries but this was by far the most hospitable trip I’ve been on.. Shout out to Vidu Wanshaja for being an amazing tour guide. He goes above and beyond in making sure you are comfortable!! I felt like I was with a friend of mine on this trip.. the sights themselves were magnificent.. Vidu even went above and beyond to accommodate what I wanted to see on this trip. When I go back to the beautiful country of Sri Lanka I’m booking them again. They are the best! What an amazing trip.. look no further and book them in a heart beat!
