  It was a great experience. Got to go and snorkel for 35-40 min on the first stop. Then we stopped and ate on the second stop. We had roughly an hour and 20 min to stop and eat. The line was about 10 min long. The last stop was at the end of the island which we had 2 hours to tour. we got to drive the golf cart around which was guided by our boat tour guide so they show you around and we followed in a line so we all stayed together with the group. They did give us a chance to stop and shop at the ruins for about 10 min. you can stop and get water/drinks from the shops or buy souvenirs. I would recommend getting souvenirs here, more options by far. I wish it was more time but there is a time schedule you gotta stick to. I would highly recommend getting golf carts with the tour guide. faster and more convenient. if you don’t do it through them, be prepared with ID/passport and for a wait time. After that we got back on the boat and it was an hour boat ride back to drop point. the excursion was amazing and they are ALWAYS giving out drinks! the team was amazing! BLUE BAYOU is the way to go! papacito/fernando, saul, and lis were all so sweet and brought good energy! would definitely do again.

  Not sure how this got such high reviews. It was a poor experience for us. If you are looking for a booze cruise this is for you. If you are looking forward to the activities that are indicated in the description it is not 100% what you get: 1.) From getting to the dock in the morning the level of chaos and disorganization is crazy. We did not get out on the boat until nearly 11 am. 2.) When we got to the first stop to do snorkeling which I was excited about. It said 30 mins of snorkeling. We got in the water and swam in a circle to go see statue hands and then get out of the water. Total of 10 mins if we were lucky. We thought ok this is weird but maybe we were just late and they are trying to catch up on time to give us more time. 3.) Then we went to Isle Majueres which we were excited to explore for 2.5 hrs. We were told we could rent a golf cart and then go to the ruins if we like or explore the downtown area. ( down town area is a tourist trap and full of souvenir shops and tequilla tasting shops one after another. ) We opted to get the golf cart tour and go see the ruins. ( $70 extra to rent and go on tour). Tour went something like this- went to cemetary ( inspired movie coco apparently). We pulled into it they said look lets go. We couldn't even get out of cart. Went to the area with the ruins. We parked they said you have 10 mins to look but it is not enough time to go and explore the actual ruins so take some pictures from a distance. We were like what??? We wanted to spend some time to actually walk around and look. Got basically none. The entirety of the 2.5 hrs was spent driving around in a golf cart. Then we went to their beach club location- which had an international buffet and a bar and a subpar beach/ pool and danceclub. The food was just awful. Options to eat were Salad(ok) but if I am traveling to areas I don't know well I don't eat things that are not cooked and I avoid ice unless I am sure it is gone through some sort of purification process. Spanish Rice, Black Beans- Rice was ok black beans were awful. Hotdogs - they were just awful. Some sort of pork dish and fried chicken. The pork was edible but limited on flavor. The chicken i couldn't eat because I am gluten free. This was essentially the extent of the buffet. The last part of the day was sitting at the beach and bar and then spending an hour on the catamaran to get back. Once we were back to the dock it took over an hour to get our transportation. We arrived back at our hotel around 8 pm. after leaving at 8:30 am. This felt more like a booze cruise and the items we were excited about we really did not get to experience. Again not sure how this got 4.7 stars. We would have rather stayed at our resort all day. If I was going to do this again I would get transportation to the docks and take the faery over to Isle Majueres on my own. We would have had a much better time and could have done it less expensive and got to see what we wanted. So live and learn and next time we will do on our own.

  They provided an unlimited amount of alcohol. Too bad none of us drinks. But the boat ride was very fun. Staff were all very friendly. Amazing pro photographers, we got our favorite photos ever! Lots of opportunities for souvenirs with reasonable pricing. Our favorite part of the day was roaming around the island in a golf cart. The kids got a kick out of it. The tour took longer than anticipated so prepare to eat dinner around 9pm that’s about when you get back.

  The good: the staff kept the drinks flowing. The water is crystal clear. There are some cool statues in the water to see while snorkeling. The bad: it was too long of a day, not enough shade or fresh water to drink. The snorkeling was for only 10 minutes and were constantly yelled at to stay with the group or hold a line. Another boat dropped off 50 people in the middle of us, so we had to move along. The island was hot with few spots of shade and we felt like we were in the way. I just wanted it over with, but from pick up to drop off it was 13 hours. The van to take us home was waiting for a straggler, so we paid an uber to take us to the hotel.

  It was very crowded and rushed. This was not relaxing as every stop was timed and moved quickly as if we were cattle. This rushed environment was not relaxing or providing the time to enjoy the surroundings and experience.
