Saryeoni Forest Path
Saryeoni Forest Path, also called Saryeoni Forest Walk, is a favorite place in Jeju for those looking to have a tranquil and relaxing walk. While the vast majority of the trees growing here are Japanese cedar, visitors can also see Japanese oak, birch, snowbell trees, and cypress trees along this 550-meter-long trail. The forest trail is known as one of Jeju's top 31 hidden attractions, and is known for being preserved very well. It is very popular among tourists who enjoy hiking and the outdoors.
Seongeup Folk Village
Seongeup Folk Village is located at the foot of Mt. Halla on Jeju Island, is a small town that holds a vast amount of culture. Cultural properties in the folk village have been handed down from generation to generation and include treasures such as residential houses, Confucian shrines and schools, ancient government offices, stone statues, large millstones (pulled by horses or ox), fortress ruins, and stone monuments. The Seongeup Folk Village shows the unique culture of Jeju Island: the black lava rock walls, the straight but curvy alleys to block the wind, and the stone grandfather statues (Harubang).

We had Ken as our guide for this tour and I must say he is genuinely a wonderful person. He has extensive knowledge about the island and explains everything very clearly. He goes the extra mile to make sure his group is comfortable and happy. We were extremely impressed with his kindness and how cooperative he was during the entire day tour. He also suggested us some other wonderful activities that we could do here in Jeju Island. He is also a wonderful photographer, and took the extra effort of clicking many beautiful photos for us. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with him and I strongly recommend Ken for this tour

Review for Ken Lee - Jeju Island Tour Guide If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience on Jeju Island, look no further than Ken Lee, a licensed government tour guide. We had the pleasure of spending a full day with him, and I can honestly say it was one of the best tours we’ve ever had. Ken's extensive knowledge of Jeju’s culture and history is unparalleled. Whether you’re a small private group or a larger tour, Ken adapts seamlessly to any group size and situation. His expertise shines through in every aspect of the tour, and you can tell he genuinely loves sharing the island’s hidden gems with his guests. He’s not only a fantastic guide but also an exceptional driver, making sure we were comfortable and safe throughout the day. Ken also takes you off the beaten path, showing you places that most other tour groups don’t visit—hidden treasures that made the experience all the more special. On top of all that, Ken is a wonderful photographer who captured so many beautiful moments as we explored the stunning sites of Jeju Island. It’s clear that he’s not just about showing you the sights but also about making sure you walk away with memories you’ll cherish. I would give Ken a perfect 10/10 for the entire experience. He’s punctual, polite, and knows how to make a tour feel personal and engaging. If you’re planning a trip to Jeju, I highly recommend booking with Ken—you won’t regret it! Thank you, Ken, for a fantastic day! I can’t wait to return and explore more of the island with you.

My 15 year old daughter and I had a fantastic tour with Ken today. We fitted so much in. He collected us from our hotel and took us to a traditional folk village he was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting facts with us. We then went to a Taekwondo show which was very entertaining and fun (we did this instead of the forest walk as looked like it might rain). We then went to a restaurant and had a delicious Korean meal. After lunch we visited the tangerine farm although it wasn’t the season for picking we met the lovely lady in the shop and she gave us some early season tangerines grown in the poly tunnels. We then headed to the sunrise peak, Ken explained the rock formations and took lots of pictures of us. It was really windy and a lovely experience. Finally we visited the Haenyeo museum which celebrates the women divers which are famous in Jeju. Ken was wonderful throughout and looked after us very well, he dropped us back at our hotel after the trip. Thank you Ken for an amazing day! We would highly recommend Ken and the tour. Ken was absolutely amazing . He customized our trip to ensure that we were able to see everything we wanted to see and learn about Jeju island . He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Jeju and Korea . He took us to an amazing restaurant for lunch and he even took time out of his day to allow me to purchase a suitcase which was way out of his way . I am so grateful to Ken for his kindness and generosity. He also took many pictures of us enjoying ourselves at every destination he took us to. He then sent us all the pictures and videos he took via email. I highly recommend booking with him if you want to have a perfect tour of Jeju island . He went above and beyond my expectations.

We had a great time with Ken who was clearly very knowledgeable about the history and the lay of the land in Jeju. Ken went out of his way to help us look for tangerines even when it was not in season and brought us to additional spots like tea plantation, and woljeongri beach along the way.

Wow this was an absolutely wonderful experience that you should not miss! Even though I was the only person who signed up that day, Ken didn’t cancel the tour and we had a great time. I learned so much from Ken and he really goes the extra mile to help you have a good experience (even finding and dropping me off at a delicious restaurant in Jeju City at the end of the day). I will absolutely be recommending this tour to anyone I know visiting Jeju in the future!

We had the most memorable day in Korea with Ken. His knowledge of Jeju Island, and Korean society, history and culture, is exceptional. We saw stunningly beautiful places, tasted Korean delicacies and captured memories to take back home. We ended up having a long day with him, as after the tour I needed to see a dentist, which I would have never found without Ken’s assistance. He spent the evening with us waiting and translating at the dental clinic, finding a 24/7 pharmacy in Jeju-city (our hotel and dentist were at Hamdeok Beach) and making sure that we would be able to enjoy the rest of our 10-day trip in Korea. I can’t recommend him warmly enough, as your tour guide to experience Jeju island and kindness of its people.
