  This was the best tour ever! Ryan picked us up right on time and provided so much information about the island. After a short hike, we settled in to just enjoy sunning and relaxing. Lunch was delicious and afterwards we fed iguanas and turtles. We felt quite VIP the entire time.

  We only had another family on the same tour so it was almost a private tour. There were a lot of people on Pinel island but it didn't feel crowded at all. Our tour guides were always available to answer any questions and they had rum punch flowing. Hike was refreshing. While snorkeling we didn't really see a lot of marine life but at least it was a good exercise.

• Tour Pinel Island like a VIP!

  We booked this via Viator, but you can also book it directly from Discover Paradise. This was our first time to St. Martin, and we were staying at Orient Bay. To snorkel in St. Martin, we really had to head over to Pinel Island because Orient Bay is mostly for swimming. Most tours to Pinel originates from St. Maartin (the Dutch side), so it wasn't easy to find a tour to Pinel from Orient Bay. We attempted to do this ourselves by contacting 2 beaches in Pinel directly. But they were both booked and there was no beach chair nor lunch reservation available due to Christmas. We found Discover Paradise last minute, and booked it the night before. Ryan came to pick us up from Orient Bay right at the appointed time. He then drove us to the ferry. We didn't have to wait in the ferry line; instead, we were directly right to the front of the line. After a short ferry ride, our beach chairs were waiting for us at Yellow Beach (same chairs that were sold out.) Ryan then took us on a hike to the top of the peak (a short 15-min hike. I do recommend beach shoes with thicker soles.) After the hike, we swam in the beautiful calm water before lunch. We also got a reserved table for lunch, at the same restaurant where tables were all booked!. After a delicious lunch (we had several choices, and we picked snapper and grouper), we had a choice of suntanning or snorkeling. Of course, we picked snorkeling, as that's what we came to Pinel to do. We did bring our own snorkel gear, but fins were not allowed in Pinel, and Ryan had swimming tubes for us to use instead. (For a weak swimmer as I, Ryan did say I could use my fins.) Ryan took us out to the bend around the island. We saw tons of fish and corals, a shark, and a small turtle (swam right under me.) The water was so clear. If we didn't have a guide, we wouldn't have known how far we could have gone. Ryan also took pictures for us throughout the trip. The 6 hours went by way too fast. It was a perfect day. On the way back, we again got VIP treatments for the ferry and did not have to wait in the long line. If you have never gone to Pinel Island, I totally recommend booking this tour. This saves you time in finding a taxi to take you to and from the ferry, booking the chairs, getting a reservation for lunch, and figuring out where the best snorkel spots are. You feel like a VIP the entire trip!

  I highly recommend this tour of Pinel Island. Nick was amazing from start to finish. We had a fantastic day. This is a must do if vacationing in St. Martin. It included lunch, chairs, snorkeling, hiking, and he also takes photographs of your experience which was awesome.

• Amazing All Inclusive Pinel Island Experience

  I had an amazing experience on the All Inclusive Local Guided Pinel Island Tour. The guide was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable and safe the entire time. They took beautiful, professional quality photos and really knew the best spots on the island. I also appreciated the snacks that were provided, which made the experience even better. Everything was well organized, relaxing, and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting and looking for a memorable island experience.

  There aren’t enough numbers to put on this review to reflect the experience that we had with Nick and our adventure to Pinel Island…. From pick up to drop off with everything included in between was top-notch and so much fun and so relaxing …..everything was taken care of. From drinks to food to extra ice to water to snorkeling to meeting new people it was awesome and was the best day ever.!!

• DISCOVERY ADVENTURE TOURS ARE THE BEST

  My wife and I have taken several tours with DISCOVERY ADVENTURES with Nick. I can honestly say that Nick provides the absolute best tours!! We took the PINAL island tour, and the full Dutch and French island tour. Both of the tours were incredibly information about the history and culture. We got to see beached that we didn't even knew excited (difficult to find unless you know where to go). Nick is very informative, pleasant and eager to make sure you enjoy your day! My wife and I have been to ST Maarten 10 times now and plan to return twice a year. DISCOVERY ADVENTURES tours were so fun, that we will do the same tours when we return!! Thank you, Nick, for your incredible desire to provide the best tours possible. See you again in 2026!! Mark and Melinda....M&M

  We had an amazing trip with Nick as our guide. We were a group of 6 with kids and everyone from the youngest to the oldest had a great time. Pinel is beautiful and the hiking and swimming/snorkelling kept everyone entertained.

  

• Finally an easy way and great way to St. Martin's Special Isle, Pinel Isle.

  A great soltution to get to our favorite little isle for cruisers. We caught our van, right our side the terminal gate. We exited the ship asap and were most pleased that Ryan was waiting for us. We drove over 30 minutes to get to the French side.We were a bit early for the people ferry for our last leg. The cost of the ferry is covered.. Upon arrival we were directed to our lounge chairs and umbrella, no additional charge. Then two of our group joined Ryan on an Isle exploration hike, seeing various critters, views of the Atlantic and Isle oddities. Upon return, the serious business of picking our lobsters for lunch. Followed by snorkling, which wasn't that great, as the waters were a churning. Some swimming and sunbathing before our delicious lunch followed by checking out the land tortoises and iguanas. More swimming and sunbathing before our return to the ship. Two of our group had never been to Pinel Isle and just loved it. Pay attention to how you sign up to ensure you click on the lobster dinner. It's worth the costs! Loved it so much that will book in January with a new group of friends. Great job Ryan, best of luck in the new venture.
