Mutianyu Great Wall
The Mutianyu Great Wall is located in Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing, China. It is about 70 kilometers away from downtown Beijing and takes about 1.5 hours. In the morning, we arrived at the most beautiful section of the Great Wall - the Mutianyu Great Wall. Compared with the Badaling Great Wall, there are relatively fewer tourists here, allowing you to fully enjoy the grandeur and tranquility of the Great Wall. Wandering among the ancient bricks and stones, touching the traces of time, listening to the tour guide tell the historical stories of the Great Wall, one can feel the wisdom and tenacity of the ancients. You can choose to take the cable car up and down, or the ropeway up and the slide down. Both methods can easily reach the heights and offer a panoramic view of the magnificent scenery of the Great Wall.

5.00Linda picked us in our hotel. She even arrived before our pickup time. We were almost the first group to arrive at the Great Wall due to her puntuality. Linda is very fluent in English and we had a fabulous time with her. Our trip to the Great Wall was so much fun. She communicated well and showed us the best way there(cable car, part of the way) and took great pictures for us. Her interactions with others was also amiable. When we needed lunch she recommended Great places since we were new to the city and the food. Our trip to the Summer Palace with her was another memorable one. Linda was also on time, very patient with us and told us about the history of the palace. I would recommend Linda and have already told my friends to use her when they come to Beijing. She was so good that I asked her to recommend guides for us in different cities that we plan to visit. Linda is the best!

5.00Our driver Davies was excellent. Arrived before scheduled time so that we can avoid the morning crowd at Great Wall. He provided details on our day tour & tips on which part of the great wall we should go & how to travel up & down. Once we got there he took the trouble to help us get the tickets walked us to the entrance so that we won't get lost. At the end of the tour he was waiting at the exit to get us back to the car. At summer Palace he guided us to which areas we should walk so that we can maximise our time in the area. It was a fun filled day tour for my family! Will engage Linda & her team if we travel to China again!
