Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)
Your friendly tour guide will meet you at your hotel in Beijing in the morning. You will firstly visit Tiananmen Square, the largest public square of this kind in the world. The visit here allows you to have a glimpse at the outside of Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao, the Monument to the People's Heroes, the magnificent Great Hall of the People, the National Museum of China, the ancient Zhengyang Gate and Arrow Tower as well as the Tiananmen Tower which leads to the well-known Forbidden City.
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum
Then move on to the Imperial Palace, also known as the "Forbidden City", the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces group with 500 years history. The palace was built between 1406 and 1420, but was burnt down, rebuilt, sacked and renovated countless times, so most of the architecture you can see today dates from the 1700's and onwards.

5.00I travelled with my parents who are close to 80 years old so I had to book a private tour. I was very pleased with the driver M. Sun and Maggie who were very accommodating. Maggie took good care of my parents requirements and special conditions. Both parents parents managed to get on the Great Wall thanks to the assistance, that’s quite an achievement given some steep areas and climbing on the wall. Overall, very satisfied with Maggie and M.Sun, keep it up

5.00Maggie was an exceptional tour guide and had an immense amount of knowledge at every place we went to. If you’re visiting in Beijing for the first time I highly recommend doing this tour. It’ll allow you and your family to see as much as possible in a short amount of time. The bonus has been able to have a guide that navigates you through all of the lines at each location which can be quite overwhelming

5.00This was a great experience and a great way to see a lot in one day. Our lovely guide, Wendy, met us at our hotel and took us to a waiting car. Wendy checked where we wanted to go and was happy to change things according to the traffic and what we wanted to see. We decided just to do a drive by of Tiananmen Square as there were long queues and we went to a tea house instead which turned out to be much more interesting. It was great to have our own car and driver as he was able to drop us off right next to the entrances and then Wendy would give him a call when we were nearing the end of a visit and he would be there to pick us up. Because of this we were able to see The Forbidden City, The Summer Palace, Tianannen Square, a tea house and have a lovely lunch all in one day. Wendy spoke really good English and was able to tell us all about the places we visited. We were expecting a small, uninteresting lunch, as is often the case on tours we have done but Wendy took us for a huge lunch of Peking Duck, corn soup, chicken kung po and other bits and pieces. We couldn’t eat it all even though it wS delicious. This trip is very good value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it. Many thanks Wendy
