Jewfish Basin is a shallow and protected bay located in the Florida Keys, known for its crystal-clear waters, stunning sunsets, and abundant marine life. When visitors stop at a sandbar on a tour of Jewfish Basin, they will disembark from the boat onto a shallow area of sand that is surrounded by clear blue waters.

4.00The sandbar is ok, but not a whole lot to do unless you plan on drinking. We saw two pods of dolphins on the way back, which was good.

5.00This activity is for all ages. The view is beautiful. The crew are knowledgeable and safety is always their priority. Different varieties of foods served are delicious. There are also several drinks to choose from. There are several activities that we can do, from: swimming, snorkeling, lounging on a floating mat , and just in the water with drinks on hand talking to our family or with other people. Our girls made friends with other teenagers .We are able to see dolphins in their natural habitat. We enjoyed this excursion!

4.00Boat ride with beautiful views, ample food and drinks. Sandbar was fun. Didn't see many dolphins and we were not close to them. However - nature can be finicky.

2.00Captain Madison was awesome and knows her stuff! Helen and Caroline, on the other hand, were extremely rude + unfriendly. My husband and I were standing at the bar for 5 minutes, while Caroline stood there looking at her phone the whole time. Helen finally looked up and asked what I wanted. I asked if I could exchange my unopened hot High Noon (that I had to purchase on board) for a cold one and she very dryly said, “we don’t have any.” When we were on the sandbar (which was NOT Snipes and just a spot that Madison found while driving), neither Helen nor Caroline seemed fun or friendly while serving drinks. Helen did most of the serving while Caroline did the talking to the guys. I would have thought this was their first day. We still had a fun time and the food spread looked good. We wish we could have gone to a better spot like Snipes but it was a nice day, either way. We saw a huge pod of dolphins on the way back. Also, the only (included) beer on board was Miller Lite and Yuengling, terribly slim options. High Noons and liquor were available for purchase. Plan accordingly.
