This trip is a unique and exciting experience that takes guests on an adventure into the Florida marine sanctuary. The sanctuary is a protected area of the ocean that is home to a diverse range of marine life, including dolphins, sea turtles, and various species of fish. The highlight of this trip is a visit to a secluded sandbar, where guests can enjoy a secluded and peaceful experience. The sandbar is surrounded by crystal clear waters and offers stunning views of the surrounding natural beauty. In addition to the sandbar experience, guests will also have the opportunity to visit the dolphin playground. This is an area of the ocean where wild dolphins are known to frequent, and guests will have the chance to get up close and personal with these intelligent and playful creatures. The dolphins are accustomed to human interaction and often approach the boat to say hello, giving guests a unique and unforgettable experience.
Jewfish Basin is a unique and exciting experience that allows visitors to explore one of Florida's most beautiful natural areas. Jewfish Basin is a shallow and protected bay located in the Florida Keys, known for its crystal-clear waters, stunning sunsets, and abundant marine life. When visitors stop at a sandbar on a tour of Jewfish Basin, they will disembark from the boat onto a shallow area of sand that is surrounded by clear blue waters.

5.00Outstanding experience. The crew of Captain John, Kathy and Maggie were outstanding in all aspects. We were able to find and watch a pod of dolphins for quite some time and several got very close to boat. If you think drinking a beer on a large sandbar in the Gulf sounds good, it is even better!

2.00Because of the sargassum seaweed they had to take us to a sandbar that was much further away so we spent more time on the boat getting to the sandbar and coming back then actually at the sandbar. They also had trouble finding dolphins. We ended up seeing no more than four on the way. In my opinion, this is definitely not worth the time spent on the boat driving to and from the sandbar.

5.00To start we were on the Mrs Lora and the crew was amazing and very knowledgeable of the Cat we were on, the area that we were at. The were also very knowledgeable on the dolphins habitat and characteristics. Captain Madison, Maggie and Sydney were the BEST and made the trip Super fun and a joy to be on!!

5.00Incredible experience! Our captain, Madison, & crew were phenomenal. Madison was friendly, informative, & so gracious to everyone on board. The crew was attentive, kind and continually checking on guests to make sure everyone was taken care of. I told Madison as we left that it was truly one of the best days of my life. Thanks for the incredible customer service - we’re so appreciative!

5.00Our family took the Dophin & Sandbar tour yesterday. Well worth it! We had a blast. We were able to see many dolphins including one that put on a show by jumping out of the water and doing a back flip! Captain John and his crew, Maggie & Noah, were awesome. Food was good and the unlimited soda was nice. We enjoyed the sandbar for two hours! Would definitely recommend this tour. We will be back!

3.00The pictures on the website are deceiving - no paddle boards, no sitting in the sand,…just sad noodles, snorkel equipment, and a floating mat that people hogged the entire time. Basically, you are in waist deep water that quickly becomes knee deep water for two hours, standing on shells. Nothing much to do on our trip if you’re sober or under the drinking age. The captain killed time by driving us around in a circle around Key West.

4.00Food and drinks were plentiful! It was really nice to get out in the water! The search for dolphins didn’t work out but I wasn’t too upset we could have just skipped the search and just did the sandbar and back. The music could have been a little better and a few people from our group had a hard time getting on and off the boat at the sandbar. I would recommend.
