This trip is a unique and exciting experience that takes guests on an adventure into the Florida marine sanctuary. The sanctuary is a protected area of the ocean that is home to a diverse range of marine life, including dolphins, sea turtles, and various species of fish. The highlight of this trip is a visit to a secluded sandbar, where guests can enjoy a secluded and peaceful experience. The sandbar is surrounded by crystal clear waters and offers stunning views of the surrounding natural beauty. In addition to the sandbar experience, guests will also have the opportunity to visit the dolphin playground. This is an area of the ocean where wild dolphins are known to frequent, and guests will have the chance to get up close and personal with these intelligent and playful creatures. The dolphins are accustomed to human interaction and often approach the boat to say hello, giving guests a unique and unforgettable experience.
Jewfish Basin is a unique and exciting experience that allows visitors to explore one of Florida's most beautiful natural areas. Jewfish Basin is a shallow and protected bay located in the Florida Keys, known for its crystal-clear waters, stunning sunsets, and abundant marine life. When visitors stop at a sandbar on a tour of Jewfish Basin, they will disembark from the boat onto a shallow area of sand that is surrounded by clear blue waters.

5.0010/10 experience! Had so much fun seeing dolphins and hanging out at the sandbar. The crew was so friendly, personable, and helpful. I would totally do this again if I ever find myself in Key West for another vacation. Definitely recommend!!

5.00Fantastic day! Captain Logan, Stephanie and McKenzie were the best hosts on our sandbar/dolphin cruise. Lovely boat ride with lots of dolphin sitings, then on to a sandbar for the afternoon. They brought drinks to us…even in the water! Will definitely do this again!

5.00The crew was amazing. Brynn and Josie were exceptional. They understood the local environment and were fun to have with us. The time at the sandbar was better than expected. Our group had a great time with the paddle boards, lily pad and football.

5.00The dolphin and sandbar excursion was absolutely amazing! Nothing was missing from this trip. Unlimited drinks, a great display for lunch, guided tour kayaking, sandbar swimming and dolphin watching. It was all day too! The best boat trip I’ve taken so far!!
Excellent adventure, good food & drink, needs an age limit for children.

4.00What an experience. Weather was perfect with overcast skies and slight breeze. Dolphins can be unpredictable for sure. Didn't see as many as we would like to have but still got to see the baby. Sandbar time was excellent. Captain John served us beer while wearing a turkey hat and made an effort to visit everyone in the water. Maggie and Teresa were awesome, too! made sure everyone was taken care of on the boat and in the water...Maggie even danced the "Macarena" with a couple of your guests (also wearing the turkey hat). The price was good and there was plenty of food and beverages for everyone...we did finally run out of Miller Lite, but what can you expect when people are having a good time. Boat was not overly crowded, and my only complaint or suggestion is that children under the age of 5 or 6 (if they need a stroller) should not be allowed. My rule of thumb with all types of "confined" family excursions: If your child cannot walk or sit all day without a stroller and be able to go to the restroom unassisted, they should not be allowed - of course there are always exceptions.

3.00When it's entitled 'Dolphin encounter' I guess you expect to see dolphins - we really didn't. We motored out for 90 minutes and spent two hours in waist deep water to motor back for 90 minutes. The two female staff were very helpful and willing and the food and beverage selection was adequate.. I think the captain mentioned five times how it was important to tip and how they all depended upon tips and they were even suggestions on the boat ranging from 15% to over 40% of the total cost of the trip. All in all if you add up the parking ($42) the cost of the trip for three people ($350) and assume you paid the suggested gratuity for 'excellent service' ($150) at nearly $550- it's an expensive day out.
