Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)
In the morning, your tour guide and private car with driver will come to meet you at your hotel lobby. The first place you will visit the Tiananmen Square which is the biggest city center square in the world. Moreover, along famous Chang'an Street, you will see The Great Hall of People, and The National Museum (used to be named Chinese history and revolution museum). In additional, the center of the square is the Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum.

From start to finish, Lucy was punctual, very knowledgeable, and incredibly experienced. She made exploring Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Great Wall both seamless and unforgettable. Lucy’s explanations were clear, insightful, and full of fascinating historical details. She expertly guided us through Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, helping us appreciate the cultural significance of each area. At the Great Wall, she took us along quieter paths with stunning viewpoints and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and take photos at our own pace. One unexpected highlight was the fantastic local food stop Lucy recommended. The meal was authentic, delicious, and easily one of the best we had in China : the perfect break between exploring these iconic landmarks. 5.00Great day trip to see the essentials of Beijing. All transport and lunch is taken care of so very low stress. I recommend if you are in Beijing for a brief time, although both Tiananmen and the Great Wall could be a full day on their own !
