  What a thrill. We had a fantastic time from start to finish. The crew, Verity, were really knowledgeable and friendly. The boat is really comfortable and perfect for the trip. We saw lots killer whales and 5 humpbacks, literally popping up everywhere. And all just twenty minutes from shore. Really felt the crew maximised our chances of seeing whales but respecting their space.

  The tour can only be recommended. Very nice crew, the boat is a pleasant size (not a huge ship) and the promised time is used to provide the customers of the best experience. Towards the end of the season we saw a lot of orcas and humpback whales. In addition, the landscape around the fjord is beautiful. You can also park directly at the berth at the port free of charge (not shown in google maps).

  Could not have been better. Saw orcas AND humpbacks in the first 20 mins. Stayed a good 20 mins there with constant activity from the sea life. Whales / orcas dissipated and we went to the Long Fjord another 20 minutes away and saw even bigger pods of orcas and more humpbacks. Action packed almost ever second of the trip. Totally feel like we got our money’s worth. Valerie was our guide and she was knowledgeable and fun. Smooth trip excellent captain no rough waters

  If you're anything like me, you spend a lot of time bouncing through reviews & companies in search of which one will be the best experience, but honestly, look no further - book with this company! Valerie was great with communication before hand, answering any questions that I had. Bram, on arrival to the dock was welcoming and demonstrated his vast knowledge of the whales, their patterns and, his eye sight is incredible! We went of a very foggy day and he was spotting the orca fins or a humpback blow far, far away. The team were fabulous. We had an amazing experinece whereby the orcas were playing everywhere near us - around us and then swimming under our boat. There was a baby that jumped over it's mum's nose and they were magical to watch. Thinking this was our excitement for the day, we lapped it up, but then later, Bram announced that there were humpbacks just a little further around the bay. Again, we saw a few, including one really old one and another whom loved to playfully slap its tail. Stunning experience, and with a feels like temperature of -30 it was wonderful to defrost in the heated boat and have a cookie and a hot drink whilst heading back to dock.   Loved this experience. The boat was beautifully heated (it was a cold day) and had great amenities. Really clear safety instructions and wonderful info on the whales and what we should expect. The guide (Yve) was really friendly and knew his stuff. Watching the whales was wonderful. The driver didn't get too close yet the whales came by us a few times so we got some close ups. Tip: wear that 3rd pair of socks and get glove liners. Standing on the frozen deck for 3 hrs can be brutally cold. The tin mugs with hot contents was a life saver! Defo worth every minute.

  Amazing experience! We saw orcas and humpbacks on they trip. The orcas were feeding, then chilling in groups near the boat at other times. We had good views of 2 humpbacks feeding and diving, again at times close to the boat. The captain doesn’t chase the whales, they position the boat nearby and see what happens. It was all very ethical. The boat is fabulous- great to be able to go inside to warm up and free hot drinks available all trip. Wrap up warm, it’s very cold stood out on deck for a longtime, mesmerised by the nature around you. Absolutely a trip of a lifetime to see orcas in the wild.

  A successful, eventful tour from the beginning. The team around Valeria has made an unforgettable adventure possible. It wasn't our first tour of its kind, but to experience orcas in a family group eating and the spectacle around them through thousands of seabirds was something special. Then even a humpback whale could be attracted to it, which also drew its circles leisurely. A very clear recommendation for this tour.

  Great excursion when in Alta. Professional staff (Valerie is the BEST!), very informative and doing everything possible to find the whales. It's safe, fun and engaging. We saw more whales than we expected, mostly Orcas that enjoyed "playing" near the boat. The boat was heated (a MUST in winter) and hot chocolate/coffee/tea was available for all. Highly recommend!

  We went on a whale watching tour on November 12th. It was a GREAT experience, the crew of the boat knew full well and we could watch the orcas and the fin whales for a long time. The German speaking tour guide explained a lot to us, it was a unique experience on a small boat. That's the closest you can get to whales......

  Excellent trip. Perfectly hosted by Valerie and expertly guided boat to get close to the whales and Orca without hassling them. Ideal weather but great to have a warm cabin to retreat to between sessions out on deck. Highly recommended!
