Travelers will be pick up from any hotel or Airbnb address in Belize City or surrounding areas. We also will wait for our travelers that arrive from the cruise ship at the terminal one gates of the Fort Street Tourism Village in Belize City.

Altun Ha
Once our guests are pick up by our driver/guide they will then be driven through Belize City as they make there way to the Altun Ha for there tour. Guest will be able to see some land marks of City such as the Baron Bliss Light house as well as the Museum of Belize a brick building that was use in the past as a prison. The drive is approximately an hour to the site. going north from Belize City. Along the way you will also get to see portion of the historic Old Belize River use as the first mode of transportation before there were any road net work in the country. You also get to see a few rural communities in the Belize District along the route. Once at the site you will be able to access and use the well sanitize rest rooms from there your tours begins with first with a walk through the museum on the site. Your guide will then accompanied you to the Mayan site of Altun Ha were you will be provided a guided tour with detail information of this ancient but important Mayan City

5.00A really special visit to a very spiritual place. We had a wonderful guide whose name is Albert.So very knowledgeable. Very interesting and explained a lot about life in Belize and its History. We wish the tour could be longer so that we could spend more time with Albert..
Mayan ruins and rain forest

5.00Our tour guide, Albert, provided a lot of interesting information on our drive to the ruins. Once on site the informative tour continued and we took a stroll through the rain forest to see the pond that was used by the Mayans. Well worth the journey.

No Show for a booking thru Caribbean Tourbase

1.00I booked Altun Ha thru Caribbean Tourbase and paid for my booking. The day before I tried to call and text for confirmation but had no reply. The morning I waited for 9am pickup and tried calling/texting with no reply. By 9.25 nobody came so I asked the hotel if they knew this company. She called and they answered right away so he must have been screening non local phone numbers. I spoke to Alberto Alvarez who claimed he never received my booking and could not take me. The hotel did arrange an alternate tour but I doubt his claims he never received my booking when I had been texting and calling the night before and this morning and he only answered the call when the hotel called from a local number.

5.00Great tour to Mayan Ruin site near Belize City. Tour took just under 4 hours from pick-up to drop off. Our tour guide, Albert, was very friendly & knowledgeable. There’s a small museum with nice displays. Cute green iguanas on the ruins were fun to see & photograph. You can climb the ruins to see the view, take pictures, etc. There’s a row of vendor stalls at the exit with beautiful hand carved wooden masks, bowls, etc & other gift/souvenir merchandise to purchase. It was reasonably priced & the shop owners were willing to give a discount if you purchased multiple items. Very nice tour!

5.00We took a last minute tour from Belize City when we realized we had an open afternoon. Best Western Biltmore arranged the tour with Cairo who was exceptional. The grounds aren't as large as some of the other ruins, but there are some unique features including water storage and jade. We didn't enjoy the harassment of the vendors on site or the bathroom attendants requesting money, but we were able to get past them without issue. This is definitely a trip worth taking if you have the time. It isn't necessary to climb any steps to have a nice experience, but the view from the top is quite nice. There was only one other group so we had the place mostly to ourselves.

5.00Our tour guide was Jeff and he was absolutely incredible! He had so much knowledge and he was so kind and helpful. He shared stories about his family and the important and admirable work that he does in the community. He was very knowledgeable about the ruins and Belize. I traveled with my two sons and I have a mobility scooter. He was more than willing and able to help us load and unload the scooter. He even drove it around the grounds for us so that he could take photos while we were on top of the ruins. We had a beautiful experience and it was in large part due to Jeff. I would highly recommend!

5.00Albert was absolutely wonderful. Easy to find coming off the ship and had a sign ready for us! He was kind and incredibly knowledgeable even answering questions we had about things that weren’t on the tour. He clearly is very proud of Belize and it shines through his tour. There was meant to be another group on the tour with us but they never showed so we started about 20min late while Albert looked around for them. This didn’t cut into our tour time at all though and I was very appreciative to see that he was concerned about the other party.

5.00This was an easy way to visit Altun Ha in a half day, and our driver/guide Burt was very friendly and helpful throughout the day. The road is not in the best condition going to Altun Ha, but Burt was considerate on the drive and even introduced us to Mackeson stout after the tour! The site itself was well maintained and Burt was very detailed in his explanations of what we are seeing. Was not very crowded and had peaceful vibes as we walked among the relics of the ancient Mayan civilization. Book this tour for a great, relaxing way to experience the history of Belize.

5.00Albert was very knowledgeable and interesting while he navigated my family through the Mayan ruins he was a historical expert in this field. We highly recommend Albert and this excursion. It was very organized safe and informative.
