Hegra
Hegra, also known as Madain Salih, is a UNESCO World Heritage site in AlUla and the first in Saudi Arabia to receive this designation. It was the second-largest city of the Nabataean Kingdom, after Petra, and is famous for its monumental rock-cut tombs, which display intricate carvings and inscriptions. Dating back to the 1st century BCE, Hegra features over 100 tombs carved into massive sandstone outcrops, each reflecting the Nabataeans’ skill in architecture and artistry. The site also includes ancient wells and ruins of dwellings, providing a fascinating glimpse into the lives and beliefs of this ancient civilization. Hegra's remote desert location, preserved inscriptions, and stunning tomb façades make it a breathtaking and historically rich destination for visitors.
Old Town of AlUla
AlUla Old Town is an ancient village in Saudi Arabia, dating back over 800 years, known for its mud-brick houses, narrow alleys, and traditional Arabian architecture. Once a vibrant stop on the pilgrimage route to Mecca, it showcases nearly 900 homes, 400 shops, and historic mosques. Visitors can explore preserved structures that blend Nabataean, Roman, and Islamic influences, offering a glimpse into ancient lifestyles amid breathtaking desert and oasis views. Recent conservation efforts have preserved its charm, making it a unique destination for experiencing authentic Arabian heritage.

5.00The tour took around 7 hours and includes the best highlights of Al Ula. Everything was organized perfectly and can be (within a certain frame) be adjusted the way it fits you best. The tour guide itself was amazing and super helpful. Props to Hatim.

5.00A great day. Our guide Khadija was fantastic. It was amazing to see Hegra and learn more about it. Elephant rock has lovely cafes and gorgeous seating areas. Old town is stunning.

5.00The tour was excellent. It was the highlight of our trip to Saudi. I cannot say enough good things about our tour guide, Rana. She was amazing! Very knowledgeable and helpful, and accommodated a small change in our plans because we wanted to see another site. Overall, highly recommended!
Incredible Cultural Experience: A Must When Visiting AlUla

5.00From start to finish, this tour was an amazing cultural experience. Our guide, Khadijah, picked us up right on time and immediately made us feel welcome. She dropped us off at Winter Park, where another bus took us out to Hegra for a guided tour with four different stops exploring the breathtaking tombs. Each site was fascinating and beautifully preserved. You really feel the history around you. We then went to Elephant Rock for the most breathtaking sunset and coffee. Afterward, Khadijah picked us up and took us to Old Town, where she walked us through the stories behind the roads, architecture, and daily life that once filled the area. She shared so much knowledge and passion that it brought everything to life. I truly implore anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the culture and history of AlUla to take this tour. It’s one of those experiences that stays with you long after it’s over.

5.00We had the most amazing experience in Al-Ula and it was all because of Moe. He made everything so easy for us and he treated us with care and he was always willing to help. If you come to AlUla make sure you book your tours with Moe. He is definitely the best.
Simply Stunning - Day tour of Alula

5.00We visited Hegra, Elephant Rock and old town Alula in the space of 7 hours with the wonderful Mohammed Al Bokhari as our guide to all things Saudi Arabia!! These tours will vary depending on time of year and time of day when you start. We started at 2pm with Hegra which saw us join a group tour of the whole site. The place is amazing and we can understand why it’s a must see ! This part of the tour took about 3 hours. Moe then took us to the fantastic Elephant Rock where we also got a chance to soak in the atmosphere (as well as the coffee!). Timing was great as we managed to see sunset with Elephant Rock Finally we visited the old town Alula which is very much a mix of old and new - and at night time you can see the place come alive with restaurants and shops lining the Main Street. All in all a fantastic day made even better with Moe guiding us through it all.
