Hegra
Hegra, also known as Madain Salih, is a UNESCO World Heritage site in AlUla and the first in Saudi Arabia to receive this designation. It was the second-largest city of the Nabataean Kingdom, after Petra, and is famous for its monumental rock-cut tombs, which display intricate carvings and inscriptions. Dating back to the 1st century BCE, Hegra features over 100 tombs carved into massive sandstone outcrops, each reflecting the Nabataeans’ skill in architecture and artistry. The site also includes ancient wells and ruins of dwellings, providing a fascinating glimpse into the lives and beliefs of this ancient civilization. Hegra's remote desert location, preserved inscriptions, and stunning tomb façades make it a breathtaking and historically rich destination for visitors.
Old Town of AlUla
AlUla Old Town is an ancient village in Saudi Arabia, dating back over 800 years, known for its mud-brick houses, narrow alleys, and traditional Arabian architecture. Once a vibrant stop on the pilgrimage route to Mecca, it showcases nearly 900 homes, 400 shops, and historic mosques. Visitors can explore preserved structures that blend Nabataean, Roman, and Islamic influences, offering a glimpse into ancient lifestyles amid breathtaking desert and oasis views. Recent conservation efforts have preserved its charm, making it a unique destination for experiencing authentic Arabian heritage.

5.00Our guide Khadijha was one of the best ones I’ve ever met! She explained us a lot about history and culture of AlUla and we’ve visited a lot of stunning places. The tour was perfectly tailored to our wishes and needs. AlUla is a fantastic place, and thanks to Khadijha we discovered it from many different angles and could not have enjoyed the trip more! We will definitely come back and book more tours with Khadijha.

5.00Hattam was a very hospitable, knowledgeable tour guide. His pride and passion for Al Ula, a place he is from, shone throughout the tour and with this he was able to uncover great locations that unless you were from Al Ula you wouldn’t know existed. A lot was covered in the day however the tour did not seem rushed at all. I’d certainly recommend this trip if you are only in Al Ula for 1 day.

5.00Our young guide Hattam speaks good English. He likes travelled himself making it more fun to exchange experience over the course of our 8 hours tour covering the oasis , Hegra & the Elephant Rock. We are truly impressed of the unique beautiful landscape of Alula . Hettam is also willing to share his cultural knowledge & has straightened various misconceptions we have on the Arabian world . Our service provider is accommodating as we had already checked out the old town the day before, they replaced it with a visit to Shalal Cafe instead. Will definitely recommend this tour to others😁

Everything was perfectly organized, the places were mind-blowing, and the whole day just flowed effortlessly. But the real star of the show was Rasha. She is an outstanding guide – super professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and her English is flawless. And honestly? Her voice sounds like it’s straight out of a BBC travel documentary – calm, warm, and absolutely captivating. You could listen to her all day and never get bored. She didn’t just guide us through AlUla – she brought the history, culture, and stories to life in a way that felt natural and exciting, not like a scripted tour. You can really feel her passion for the place. If you’re thinking about visiting AlUla, don’t even hesitate.
