Our guide and driver were prompt in picking us up at our hotel. We enjoyed our trip to Pompeii. SUV was very comfortable. Guiseppe guided us to a wonderful restaurant on the beach in Positano for lunch. Had some free time to wander and shop. Recommend.

We had the best time on this tour. From pick up to drop off, we enjoyed every minute. Our guide JB, was fun and friendly. The best part of this tour is that it is small. We arrived at Pompeii early, so the crowd wasn't much of a crowd. Our tour guide was personable and incredibly knowledgeable, we saw so much and learned a lot along the way. Our trip to the coast was breathtaking, lunch by the sea, shops to explore and time to take in the beautiful area! The drive back was filled with amazing views as well. I'd recommend this excursion for adults or older teens who want to take time to go through this beautiful part of the country. Hands down, this was our favorite excursion during our time in Italy.

We enjoyed the tour - the communication with the tour operator was excellent from start to finish; pick up was on time; the driver and guide were warm and helpful; and the sites (especially Pompeii ruins and the town of Positano). The licensed guide of Pompeii ruins is very knowledgeable and we learned so much about it from him. Lunch at Positano was also delicious and we enjoyed others in our tour group. The view along Amalfi coast was spectacular. The only unfortunate part of the tour was that we were not able to go to the town Amalfi because the parking was full. It was not within the control of the tour operator and they had also warned people at Viator’s site. Still it was regrettable that we were unable to see the town of Amalfi.

Excellent! From the start it was fantastic, JB was very professional and very fun. He made sure we were always comfortable and taken care of. I do think 5 people is the max for the vehicle and we were 5 so that was perfect. Any more would have been really tight. The stops were perfect for bathroom breaks, the trip to Pompeii was great to take a small nap. Once we arrived in Pompeii our guide was outstanding. I learned so much, we got there just before the crowds and had a wonderful and knowledgeable experienced tour. We then drove to Amalfi, we appreciate JB asking if we wanted to eat together, and he made reservations at a fantastic restaurant with beautiful views. Great job JB!! THEN we went to MAIORI and that was perfect. It was worth every penny and we will recommend highly!!

The tour was amazing! Our guides were very knowledgeable. My parents have limited mobility and they did their best to accommodate them so they also had a great experience.
Perfect day out, seeing lots of Italy in one day - history and coastal beauty!

An amazing day! We were well looked after, with great communication in advance, from Imane and Arthur (who must be the best driver in the world!). Our tour guide at Pompeii was Carolina and she was simply brilliant - really information, whilst also friendly and made the tour fun. The mini-van was really comfortable and we had a comfort stop for breakfast before going onto Pompeii. We also had stops for photos when on the Amalfi cost, along with lunch in Positano (which Imane booked for us - a restaurant right on the seafront - beautiful) and a short stop in Amalfi. We were picked up at 6.30am and back at our hotel by 8pm, so it was a long day, but I wouldn't change any of it. The Amalfi Coast is beautiful, and a lovely contrast to the historic morning in Pompeii - so a really balanced itinerary that suits everyone. Would definitely recommend.

This day trip to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast was amazing from start to finish. Pompeii was fascinating, and Malak was incredible—so knowledgeable and engaging, she really brought the history to life. The Amalfi Coast drive was absolutely beautiful, with stunning views the whole way. John David did a great job navigating the winding roads, and we felt completely safe and comfortable. Overall, a fantastic experience and definitely a highlight of the trip. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful day with our guide Mala and driver Fabio. Pick up was timely, and we stopped for a quick bite on the drive from Rome to Pompeii. Mala made sure we were taken care of and introduced us to our local guides Hector at Pompeii. Hector was the most spry 83 year old I have ever met. He was knowledgeable and funny. After leaving Pompeii, we drove to Positano for lunch. Once again Mala guided us efficiently and courteous through through the Positano crowds to a wonderful lunch on the beach. She also assisted us with shopping and a limoncello tasting. We finished the day in Amalfi at some great candy and lemon sorbetto shops. Be ready for a very long day, but it was well worth the time and effort!
