The Amalfi Coast can be complicated and time-consuming to visit on your own. Taking a shared minivan or minibus is the simplest and most affordable way to enjoy the sights. This eight/nine-hour trip begins in Sorrento, Naples, Salerno and heads south for the breathtaking drive (lightly narrated by your driver-or narrated by your guide), and an hour or two in each of the three main towns - Positano, Amalfi and Ravello - before returning to Sorrento, Naples, Salerno.

Positano, the most picturesque town of the Amalfi Coast resembles a waterfall cascading down to the sea. Visitors descend narrow pathways, perusing artisan workshops offering ceramics, fabled lemon products, and the distinct local style of dress.

Amalfi Coast

The gem of Amalfi is the oldest of Italy’s maritime republics. Whitewashed homes dotting the hillside are illuminated by the abundant sunshine that bathes the city. The basilica’s cupola is a reference to the Sicilian -Arabic influence that once dominated the area. For centuries it has been a popular destination due to its natural beauty and ideal climate.

The tour guide Michelin was best guide we’ve ever had, very knowledgeable, entertaining which made our coach trip more enjoyable. Scenery was fantastic with ample time at each stop to enjoy surroundings. We had a sunny day so actual saw Mt Vesuvius

My wife and I had an amazing time! Not only was the entire experience unforgettable, but our tour guide Micheline (“Nonna”) was absolutely fantastic. She made the trip even more special and eventful than we could have imagined. We would 100% recommend this tour, especially if Nonna is leading the way!
Wonderful excursion to Pompei and Herculaneum

We enjoyed our tour of Pompei and Herculaneum with Manuela, our guide for both segments. She was efficient, professional, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. She made the ruins come alive for us, making us feel what it was like for the residents to endure the terror of the Vesuvius eruptions. She also gave us insight into the daily lives of the residents as we viewed the ruins of bakeries, shops, fast food purveyors and the wealthy citizens’ villas. The entire day went quickly. Important to note is that the company took care of us, communicating clearly our meeting points and times. We had to be taken to Herculaneum separately from the group but the transfer was handled effectively and efficiently. Manuela also ensured that, despite the huge crowds, we gained access to our viewing points according to our itinerary. Her guidance was flawless. I highly recommend this tour!

We had a great day with Roberto, our driver and tour guide for the day, who took us along the Amalfi Coast to Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. The villages were beautiful with lots of unique shops and amazing views. The views during the drive were also great. Roberto was very knowledgeable pointing out points of interest along the way. He was extremely helpful with dropping us off in the centre of the towns and keeping in touch via WhatsApp for pick ups. His driving was impeccable on winding roads with motor bikes coming from all directions. We loved our day and if you get Roberto as your driver you will be in safe hands.

This was a lovely tour, our guide Mary was kind and informative. The road can make you sick so be aware of that. The hour you get in the towns is not much so move quickly.

Our guide was amazing, knowledgeable and had a passion for the 3 towns we saw that was palpable! It was just enough time in each town. Truly a great one day trip to see Positano, Amalfi and Ravello!

Great experience moving from town to town. However, if you are looking for a guided tour, this is not it. Your driver is quick to say they are merely a driver and not a tour guide. They do share a bit of local information but not like a tour guide would.

Alberto was an AMAZING driver and tour guide. Despite the heights and windy roads and crazy other drivers, Alberto drove the van very smoothly and safely! The day flew by and I had no worries because he took excellent care of everyone and treated all in the group with respect, kindness, and professionalism. Thank you Alberto 🙏🏽
