Very good tour, but a long day and watch out for tourist traps

5.00This is a very well thought out tour. It is a very long day though and it would be nice to have more time in Sorrento, well and Pompeii too even though it would take to long to see it all. Our tour guide Sarah was excellent and I was with a fantastic group of people for my tour. I would highly recommend this tour for people that would like to get a taste of Napoli. The only thing I didn’t really care for was the pizza lunch. It was not very good and there is much better food in Italy. But for a quick grab and go it does the job for a big tour group, just know it’s not the best quality. Also the limoncello place that is the stop for the tasting charges very inflated tourist prices. So do the tasting and buy drinks and things elsewhere in Sorrento. Overall very good tour though

5.00Sarah was our tour guide and she was awesome! So knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. We wish the time in Pompeii had been longer, others it was a great excursion.

5.00Klare and the driver Roman were fantastic. They were very informative and looked after our every need. Klare kept spirits high when the coach had engine trouble and made sure it didn't impact on the experience

5.00This is by far one of the best experiences you can have in Rome whether traveling solo, or as a group. The trip allows you to get a small view of a bunch of different aspects of Italy as a whole and is broken up into very manageable segments. Personally my favorite part was our guide Eduardo who is the best guide I’ve ever had and one of the most personable people I have ever meet. During the trip he was there to meet our every need whether we had questions about the history of an area for which he had plenty of facts having studied history, or cuisine, and others. During the time I also was able to converse with him about some of his travels for which he has plenty as well which are amazing to see and he will make suggestions for visiting those areas as well. Overall an excellent tour but least to say I believe Eduardo is the one who makes it a better experience. Least to say if I could give this tour higher than a 5 I would. Thanks Eduardo!!!

5.00Our trip was fantastic, it was a long day but Eduardo A. Acknowledged that in the beginning . Told us many enjoyable facts that were on a very humanistic level, not just text book facts , but how everyday people were affected. Though it was rush from place to place he made time for us to have free time so we didn't feel rushed, we appreciated that we had taken another long day trip like this and we never really got the free time we had today 👏👍 to Eduardo for making that happen. He loves his job I felt like because the personal touches and enthusiasm used when talking about thing. Best tour to date thank him again for making our trip a memorable one

5.00There was a lot of fun and historical information. We enjoyed the places where we stopped to explore. The Pompeii part of it was amazing and detailed.

5.00We did the Pompeii and Positano tour. Day was long but in a good way, felt like we got excellent value for money and were never bored. We went with Veronica & she was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and kept the day running smoothly! Would definitely recommend!

4.00At the archeological site the ear piece was terrible. It fit over your ear. You have to pay for the bathroom and the line's are extremely long. Our tour started late so our time inside felt very rushed. If the guide was walking sometimes there was static and it was hard to understand her of at all. If you took time to take pictures you were out of range and couldn't hear her at all.

5.00This tour is a great day trip option from Rome. Pompeii and Sorrento are beautiful places to see that are quite accessible from Rome. The staff at the meetup point were friendly and helpful. The coach was clean and comfortable. Our driver Tony, was great, and the trip was safe. But the real star of this trip for us is our tour guide Michela. She was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. You can see she has a great love for people and for what she does. She even assisted in arranging lunch options for those who would like to avail of it. We also had a little emergency, and Michela facilitated it with such kindness and respect. With regards to Pompeii, it is a must-do for anyone who loves ancient history. Our in-house guide there, Claudia, was also wonderful and adjusted the content of the tour very well sice our group had young children. The drive along the coast was beautiful but fleeting. The quick stop at the Limoncello factory was really refreshing, seeing and smelling the factory was nice. The Limoncello tasting was also a great quick experience. The stop at Sorrento was very relaxing, you can choose what you want to do. You can visit the 2 streets for shopping, look at a few churches, or in our case, we joined Michela on a walk to the water, where we decided to descend the path down the Marameo Beach Club and had drinks by the water. We highly recommend this trip and we hope you can experience it with Michela.
