We have been given exclusive access to a private Daintree Rainforest tropical fruit farm, where we can walk into the ancient rainforest and swim beneath a pristine, secluded waterfall....
After exploring this idyllic walk through lush forest glades and the creekside valley, we enjoy a superb gourmet lunch, with choices of steak, barramundi fish, chicken, kangaroo and vegetarian.

And then finishing the afternoon with a unique Daintree River boat cruise searching for the fascinating estuarine crocodiles and other wildlife of this World Heritage ecosystem.
Note: All pickups are from Port Douglas and Mossman. Cairns guests please meet us in Port Douglas.

If you search this website for "Daintree waterfall" you will see both our tour options there. Our "Beautiful Daintree Waterfall Walk, Magical Swim and Heavenly Lunch" is the same as this tour, but without the River cruise. Unlike this tour, it is available all year.
We enjoy a superb gourmet lunch in a secret rainforest restaurant, with choices of Steak, Barramundi Fish, Chicken, Kangaroo, Vegetarian, and other dietary needs catered for. PLEASE ENTER YOUR LUNCH CHOICES FOR ALL TRAVELLERS UNDER "SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS" DURING CHECKOUT.
Please note: This tour is only available for guests who can meet us in Port Douglas or Mossman (Silky Oaks). The Waterfall Walk does require a good level of fitness and balance. Recommended for 10-65 years of age.

To begin the morning, we drive through lush and mountainous coastal landscapes from Port Douglas, learning about the history and culture of the region, as we journey toward the ancient Daintree Rainforest.
Daintree
For our spectacular and idyllic wild walk, we hike through ancient rainforest glades and the creekside valley to a gorgeous, secluded waterfall in the Daintree Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, where we can swim in this pristine untouched rock pool. The walk is a slightly challenging 1 hour each way, requiring reasonable fitness and good balance. We go at an easy pace, sharing many fascinating details about the pristine rainforest ecosystem along the trail... We then relax and indulge in a refreshing swim in this magical natural Rockpool where we can swim right beneath the falls !

5.00AMAZING EXPERIENCE! A tour for those who are truly outdoorsy as it is true hiking. Alister was the best tour guide and person. He shared so much of his life experiences living in the rainforest with us and was very knowledgeable about the community. This is just what we needed: a break from the hustle bustle, time spent with other wonderful travelers, and the great outdoors. We learned about the rainforest, had a relaxing swim, the meal was at an open air restaurant that was extraordinary (and unique), and we saw 3 crocodiles with Ray on the croc tour!

5.00Alistair's Daintree experience was fun for the whole family. He spoke at length about the Daintree forest, was very engaging, provided a lovely lunch, we saw several crocodiles on the afternoon river cruise which was brilliant and the swim at the waterfall was relaxing.

5.00I could give this experience more stars, I would! Allister was absolutely amazing throughout the entire day. The walk to the waterfall was a little slick and humid, but not strenuous at all. Along the way, we learned so much about local fruit trees and flora. The waterfall itself was incredibly refreshing for a swim and simply beautiful. It was also lovely that we had it all to ourselves. Lunch at the cute cafe was simply delicious, and the day ended perfectly with seeing multiple crocodiles on our river cruise. Thank you for such a memorable day!

5.00This was one of the most memorable experiences I’ve encountered here in Australia that I will always cherish. First of all, my tour guide was not only knowledgeable about the Daintree forest but was super polite, fun and went above and beyond. He always returned texts/emails in a timely fashion and was punctual in picking me up from my pickup point. He was thoughtful and considerate of all those involved and kept all conversation pleasant and on point. Next, the lunch was lovely that our guide took us to, following the hike and swim at this remote waterfall deep in the rainforest. The owner of this quaint little restaurant served us the most exotic fruit and then took the time to explain what each piece of fruit was! Wow! Finally, the time to do everything including the crocodile boat tour was just perfect. The entire experience was more than what I expected and I would do it again! I went back and forth bw doing the 4 he versus the 8 hr tour - so grateful I did the 8 hr! It did not disappoint.
