  We had an absolutely great safari in Amboseli National Park! The scenery, with its impressive views of Mount Kilimanjaro, completely enchanted us, and the wildlife was simply breathtaking – elephants, lions, zebras and so much more, all up close. A special thanks goes to our guide James Kariithi, who made this experience unforgettable. He was not only extremely helpful, but also incredibly well informed. Whether it was wildlife, nature or local stories, he could answer any question. His keen eye has made us discover many animals that we would probably never have seen alone. The organization of the safari was also excellent. Everything went smoothly, and we felt completely comfortable and safe. We can highly recommend this safari and especially our guide James Kariithi.   Best adventure ever….., incredible views, amazing accommodation, good food….., and the driver’s ( John Kariuki) knowledge of Amboseli, where to catch the best views and what time is absolutely spot on!!!   We had an amazing trip to Amboseli, organized by Explorer Kenya Safaris. John Kariuki was our driver and tour guide, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide! He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and a great pleasure all around. The drive to and fro Amboseli was also excellent. The stay at Amboseli along with the game drives was also quite enjoyable. We will definitely use Explorer Kenya Safaris and John Kariuki again. Thank you so much!!

  We went to Amboseli 4 January with guide Simonpeter. It was a great trip, convenient pick up in Nairobi, stayed 2 nights in Serena lodge within the park. We did 4 drives (2 afternoons and 2 early mornings) - the moment we drove out we saw many animals including lions, birds, a cheetah, elephants and hyenas. Thanks a lot to Simon who made some wise guiding decisions based on his twenty years of experience. Only the Kilimanjaro was hard to spot because of the clouds 🌧️❤️ thanks Simonpeter!

  An amazing tour, Godfrey was our guide for 3 days in Amboselli! Godfrey was incredible. We couldn't recommend Godfrey or Explorer Kenya more highly. Godfrey knew everything and he found many elephants, giraffes, hippos, flamingos, lions on one game drive - he is a true expert! We learnt so much from him, thank you Godfrey - it was a pleasure to meet you!

  Booking this trip was so easy. Ibrahim was very knowledgeable and a great communicator. He answered emails very quickly and was very professional. We were picked up by Simonpeter and driven to Amboseli. He was a wonderful guide, answering all of our questions about Kenya and its culture. He spoke wonderful English and we had no issues communicating at all. He is so knowledgeable about the animals and the ins and outs of the park and the animals. He pointed it all out and told us the names and behaviors , etc. We stayed at Kibo Safari Camp and loved it. They had buffets for all meals, great accommodations (we did mid-range category) and the pool area was wonderful. The food was great and the coffee was absolutely divine! They did a turndown service where they closed our blinds and put up the mosquito netting. We got laundry done, I got a facial and a deep tissue massage. The massage was awesome! Would totally stay here again. Recommend it highly.

  I just wanted to express my thanks for such a wonderful safari to Amboseli last month. I can't imagine a better guide than Peter. He was so knowledgeable about the animals and the park it felt like he could read their minds. His wonderful energy and humor were an added bonus on the journey. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute! From my initial communications with Robert to the drop off at my hotel in Nairobi at the, everything was easy and exactly as promised. The Kibo Safari Camp was beautiful.
