Enjoy three activities in one package at the Amish Experience! Located in the heart of Lancaster's Amish Country, the Super Saver includes the 90-minute guided Amish Farmlands Tour, critically-acclaimed film "Jacob's Choice" at the Amish Experience Theater, and the Amish Country Homestead & One-Room School.

Guests must provide a car seat for small children or babies on Farmlands Tour. ALL children must have a ticket. Parents may not hold or share a seat with children or babies.

Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Days.

No pets allowed.

The Amish Experience

The Amish Experience at Plain & Fancy Farm SuperSaver package includes three activities. Amish Farmlands Tour: 90 minute guided Amish farmlands tour using our air-conditioned 14 passenger mini bus. A stop along the way for authentic Amish goods is included. Amish Experience Theater: 35 minute, five-screen, special-effect film called "Jacob's Choice." Follow a young Amish man as he decides whether or not to be Amish, and experience history through flash-backs in the film. Amish House and One-Room School: The Amish Country Homestead is a 45 minute guided walking tour of a replica Amish house and school on site at the Amish Experience.

Comfortable bus ride through the farmlands, followed by a short film and then a tour of a farmhouse. It was very informative. Small group so it was easy to hear and ask questions.

One of the better tour experiences. What made it great was the intimacy and the knowledge of the guides. We did the super-saver activity. The bus ride was the highlight. The driver was great and took a detour to show an Amish farmer plowing his field with 6 mules. Everyone was very respectful of the Amish and their culture. The movie was good. The replica Amish home was enlightening. Overall a great experience.

This was my first experience and I was very impressed. Our tour guide Divine was that DIVINE! He was very helpful and knowledgeable. He did our bus tour, our movie experience tour and the one room experience. Kuddos to Divine!

This was the perfect tour for us and our two young daughters to see and learn a very simple understanding of how the Amish live. We really enjoyed it. The schoolhouse tour was so fun as well.

Excellent and worth every penny. Dave was an experienced and knowledgeable host. Highly recommend. I’ve done three in past years with other companies and this is the best in my opinion. Plan for three hours. Only 5 on the bus which made for a wonderful time.

The Amish Experience was everything we hoped for. Geoff, who had been doing tours with the company for 35 years, was friendly and informative. My teenage daughters and I watched the movie, toured the school and house, and took part in the bus tour. The experience took around 3 hours in total and groups were small. There was also a gift shop on site. I would certainly recommend the experience to anyone who is interested in learning more about the Amish.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the Amish lifestyle and community. It gave me firsthand information about how they live and an educational experience as well. He was able to answer all of our questions. I also feel like he was respectful of the way how he shared information about the Amish community.

His knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject is dazzling!
