Our team (captain/driver & decksman) show you many sights such as the enchanting area around Mirabell Palace, where one of the world-wide most beautiful wedding venues can be found, Leopoldskron Palace, world-famous due to the scenes filmed for “The Sound of Music” (short photo stop at the lake), old districts such as Mülln, Mozart’s residence and many, many more. On the way back to the drop-off zone, you enter the Salzach river with a “splash down”, allowing you to see the skyline of the city of Salzburg from a unique and truly once-in-a-lifetime perspective.

From the moment you board this world-wide unique amphibian vehicle, which has been specially built for Salzburg, this tour - unlike any other - begins. The trip on the water and on the land with the concluding "splash down" into the Salzach river, the live commentaries as well as the additional seven languages at your disposal, all help to convey the sights of the city and its surroundings to you in an unbeatable way, the likes of which have never been seen before. 4.00Interesting and fun concept of a tour. Unfortunately it wasn’t much of a tour…more of a ride up and down the river and in the city center. Driver was friendly and assistant was courteous.

4.00Most of the tour is on land and if you book the 3.15pm tour you may like us get stuck in a lot of traffic, so sat doing nothing and finished half hour late!

1.00Did not have a good experience. The vehicle was hot and smelled strongly of gasoline. The tour guide was extremely boring and seemed to be reading jokes off a memorized script, in a robotic and bored voice. The boat part of the tour was very brief and we did not see anything interesting. It was just a gimmick to be in a vehicle that could be both in the water and land. Skip this tour and do a bus tour of the city instead.
