5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our canal cruise. Our host guide was so humorous and informative! The wine and cheese definitely enhanced the experience as we took in the sites of Amsterdam.

3.00Captain was experienced, and we had a safe ride. Guide was part stand up comic, part bartender and part guide. I could have done with less comic show and would have liked more history . The wine and cheese didn’t meet my expectations. We were served a platter of cubed Gouda and choice of 3 wines, beer or soda. My expectation was it was a tasting of assorted cheeses. Even though, It all tasted fine.

5.00The boat is small and intimate in a good way. Sit in the back and you can see everything without any windows in the way. The snacks are delish. The guide is personable and funny. The ride gave us a good overview of the area and oriented us to the city center.

4.00We booked on a 6pm cruise so we could see Amsterdam by night. Unfortunately, we were bumped to 4pm when is was light, so not a great start. The captain (Gjis) I think was very informative and very entertaining. We had a lovely tour and learnt a lot. What was not clear was we got presented with a bill for the drinks at the end.! Caveat Empor!
