This is a seasonal tour which we only run in springtime, during March, April and the first weeks of May.
On this tour you'll experience the best Holland has to offer in spring: tulips, windmills and countryside. Join us on our wonderful tulip tour through the famous flower fields of Holland near Lisse and the Keukenhof.
We drive with a small van, so we can take you to the best viewpoints and places where the big tour busses can't come. The flower fields around Lisse and Hillegom bloom depending weather circumstances like temperature, rain and sunshine.
Of course we also visit the Keukenhof, the biggest flower garden in the world.
After this amazing flower experience we drive to the windmills of the Zaanse Schans. This is the best place in Holland to see old windmills.
On our way back to Amsterdam we stop at cheese farm Simonehoeve to taste cheese.
We’re flexible so we can adjust the tour to your wishes and lunch is not included but you can decide when and where you want to eat.

Entrance tickets to Keukenhof. Because tickets can’t be returned by us when tour gets canceled.
There are plenty of options for food at De Keukenhof but you can also choose to have lunch at a restaurant. Of course that takes time so it’s also possible to grab a bite along the way at anytime.

5.00Highly recommend this tour and our guide, Tuin, was terrific! If anything, the tour is better than described. We were able to see the tulip garden and the windmills, but also small towns in the vicinity of Amsterdam. Tuin answered all of our questions and provided a lot of context for historical and present day Holland. I would highly recommend this tour for a full immersion to the area! MK

5.00We had a wonderful day with Philip! Keukenhof was our major focus, along with the windmills and a cheese factory. He is a great guy with an incredible knowledge of everything we saw. He also took us to some very charming non-touristy towns, and a small pub for a delicious light lunch, which was exactly what we were looking for. He was a great listener and customized everything perfectly for the day. If we had more time, we would have requested him for several other tours. It was an extremely enjoyable day, and we would not hesitate to reserve another with him!

5.00Absolutely incredible - that is how we would describe the gardens. We could have spent the entire day there. I am giving a 5 star review because we had a super day with our fun and knowledgeable guide Phillip, and really enjoyed learning from him. Our disappointment was learning the day before the tour that we should buy tickets to Keukenhof online. They weren't available, so I bought at an inflated price from a retailer, only to learn once we got there that I could have bought at the regular price from the ticket window. That is my advice to anyone who reads this review. We were upset to pay the premium, but very happy with the day and the guide and the selection of activities - from the gorgeous gardens, to lunch in a little fishing village, to the family-run cheese factory, and finally the windmills. We would definitely recommend the experience.

5.00Toured many aspects of the countryside, tulip fields, gardens, dunes, and windmills! Our guide was knowledgeable about the landscape and culture as well as climate influences. We had a lovely lunch spot. Highly recommend.

5.00Our tour of Holland was amazing! Our guide was Teun and my family very much enjoyed our time with him. The tour is top notch. We made the perfect choice by using Holland Windmills. We loved having a private tour and Teun was so easy to talk to and learn from. Absolutely recommend!!!

5.00We couldn’t have had a better tour guide. He was a character that was a lot of fun and loved his country. We did all the things that was listed on the tour and then much more. He took us inside a working 1600s windmill that was being run by one of his old buddies. They are all run by volunteers that want to keep the art alive. This one was a saw mill that took historic old downed trees and sawed them up to make city benches. Totally away from the tourist crowd. I highly recommend this guy
