Captain Erik was fantastic. He was very warm, welcoming, funny, and had great knowledge of the city. From the moment of arrival, Erik made me feel at ease. He answered questions, seemed truly interested in his guests as people, and I feel fortunate I had my tour with him. The only thing negative about the whole time was a couple disrespectful guests who were just too loud, and were not paying attention at all. It was hard for Erik to talk over them for the people who were actually interested in learning about Amsterdam and seeing its beauty. This, obviously, is no reflection on the tour operator or captain Erik. Actually, he was incredibly graceful handling the few rude and uninterested guests and made sure to work extra hard for those of us who were listening to him.

Captain Storm was a most engaging, funny and knowledgeable host. The tour was amazing and was a wonderful way to see Amsterdam. The snacks and drinks were plentiful and good. At one point, Captain Storm parked the boat, ran into a local restaurant and came back with several plates of piping hot bitterballen for everyone on board. They were delicious and Captain Storm showed us the "proper" way to eat them. We most highly recommend this tour.
