Depending on availability, you'll cruise on:
- the Stan Huygens, an iconic yacht once chartered weekly by Freddy Heineken (max 24 guests, open bar, live guiding);
- or the Pure Spirit, a beautifully restored launch (max 16 guests, semi-open, self-service bar after the first round).

5.00It’s a lovely cruise- the boat is comfortable, with blankets and pillows for the benches. Each couple received a generous cheese tray and lots of drink options. Our host was friendly and knowledgeable. The evening cruise was gorgeous- we would definitely recommend this tour!!

5.00Bram was our guide and we couldn’t recommend more! The tour was informative, fun, and casual. We got to know everyone on our boat whilst laughing about our shared Amsterdam experiences. While we wished it was longer, Bram and the beautiful small boat made this a perfect end of trip activity!

5.00This evening cruise was the best part of our stay in Amsterdam and I’m so pleased we decided to do it. Booking was very easy and the communication with the staff was seamless. There was a great mix of learning the history of the city while still having some quiet time to just soak everything in. The drinks and fruit with cheeseboard was a great touch, and our decision to book 9:45pm was perfect.

5.00We experienced a tour on pure boats in April 2025, during our engagement trip to Amsterdam! We did a lot of research to find a Canal cruise that we would enjoy, and we didn’t want something so mainstream such as the gray line or something large scale. We wanted something nice intimate, cozy, professional, and enjoyable. Pure boats did not disappoint!! Their boats are so luxurious and clean and fresh! The staff running them was amazing! On the boat, they treat you to unlimited drinks such as champagne, beer, and wine. Also, you do have a choice of snacks such as small cookies and a fruit and cheeseboard. The staff was extremely helpful in accommodating to every need and during the entire tour, the captain made us feel so comfortable navigating those difficult waterways. The skipper who was giving us information about the city and doing the tour was super knowledgeable, I can’t exactly remember her name, but she was from America living in Amsterdam! I was honestly sad at the end of the tour when it was over because I wanted it to go on for so much longer. I highly highly recommend pure boats!!

5.00Lovely small boat, just 16 guests, cruise on the Amsterdam canals. Our 9:30pm cruise time was perfect to see the canals in the daylight and in the evening with the canal lights on. Drinks were varied and plentiful, cheese and crackers were perfect. Lisa, our guide, was super. She was happy to answer questions, chatted easily and prompted conversation.

5.00It was a perfect start to our time in Amsterdam! We had yummy cheeses, crackers, grapes, nuts, cookies to accompany our choice of crafted beers, wines, bubbly, or juices or water. Captain Will poured our first drinks and then we were free to get our own refills as desired as he drove the boat. We saw a lot of canals and a lot of Amsterdam with Will (who grew up in Amsterdam) as our knowledgeable and friendly guide on the classy boat.

5.00I think the canal cruise was a bargain. We got the name of this company from a friend that had used this company in the past. We chose the two hour cruise, on a boat with an enclosed and heated cabin holding 24 guests at about six comfortable booths. It was a rainy and cold afternoon, so choosing this particular cruise was wise. The booking was easy and because the cruise mentioned snacks, during the online booking process I typed in that my family members were gluten-free. About an hour later I got a phone call from the cruise company asking me for details. They made special arrangements to include gluten-free items for my family. It was really a nice touch. The boat was beautiful and the snacks included crackers, biscuits, cheese, cashews, and fruit. Drinks included 6 wine choices (the wine was excellent), five different beers, coffee, tea and soft drinks. The food and drinks were all included. There were four crew members on board and all loved their job. The captain did a bit of talking but one of the crew worked as the cruise director and was both funny and educational as she talked on and off for at least half of the two hour tour of Amsterdam. She was great. My family loved the time on board.

5.00Very well done. Boat captain/guide spoke English well to the all-English speaking group. Nov selection of beverages and snacks. Comfortable seats and boat was enclosed enough to allow the heaters to do the job.
Light festival canal tour

5.00Amsterdam light festival trip...excellent organised with a nice glass of wine and some snacks. Sailing around some special peaces of "light-art" located in the Amsterdam canals. Our host gave us a lot of input on the how and why of these peaces...and although living in Amsterdam learned so much more about the city, thanks!
