  A very long day. I booked an English tour and was apart of a dual langiage tour. I am not interested in listening to everything twice and once in a language that I cannot understand. This means everything takes twice as long which turned a tour that should be 6-7 hours to a 11 hour tour.

  I really enjoyed the tour. The tour guide, David, is a real professional. Not only is he knowledgeable of the regional history and culture, he is also expert at managing a group of people, keeping them engaged, cared for, and comfortable. As we moved through the day attending four glorious sites, David kept track of everyone in the group, effortlessly adjusted the plan to smooth out the logistics, switched between English and Russian to accommodate our language abilities, and built rapport with vendors and all of us customers in the group to make for a pleasant day. No one got left behind, no one threw a tantrum due in no small measure to David's prowess as a guide. The van was comfortable enough, our driver was courteous and friendly and knew how to drive. All the sites were quite magnificent and we had enough time to explore each. The two things to keep in mind. If you happen to be a woman, you may want to bring a scarf to cover your head if you do not want to use one of the scarves that are readily available at each site. If you are a man, either wear long pants or bring covering for your legs to enter the churches. It was a bit more challenging for men in our group to find a large enough scarf to cover their legs. Note also that a visit to Uplistsikhe involves a lot of climbing the rocks, which could be treacherous on a wet day, if your shoes do not have a certain degree of traction, or you do not possess a certain degree of fitness. From the birthplace of Christianity in Georgia, to the birthplace of one of the most controversial figures in the world's history, to a picturesque monastery in a most striking mountaintop location, to an ancient cave town, all in one day. You will probably enjoy it; i certainly did.

  The tour is nice because we could discover several beautiful things. But the organization was bad. The guide gave different meeting times to each. This caused tension between the band members because waiting for the others locked in a van when it is 40 degrees, it is complicated! Poor organisation

• Poorly Organized Tour with Repetitive Issues

  I joined this tour in mid-May 2025, operated by the same company and organizer, as a previous tour I had booked through a different platform. Unfortunately, I noticed a recurring pattern of lateness and disorganization. The tour was scheduled to start at 09:00, but there was no point in arriving early. I waited outside until 09:20 before boarding the minibus, which then went on to pick up more guests. The actual tour journey didn't begin until closer to 09:30. At the Gori Museum, things became chaotic. Our guide handed us off to the museum guide and waited outside. However, at the entrance, we were told the tour guide had to be present to register our group. After a brief standoff, the staff let us in, but this lack of coordination caused unnecessary confusion. Instructions like “follow the lady in red” were vague and unhelpful when museum staff insisted on formal registration. We were later brought to Gori Terrace restaurant, a clear tourist trap with mostly poor reviews. It was cold, and when someone asked for the heater to be turned on, the staff refused. The tour guide was friendly but distracting to listen to, frequently using filler phrases like “you know,” “right,” and “basically” every couple of sentences, which quickly became tiring. Despite the tour description promising an air-conditioned vehicle, the AC was off by default and only turned on when requested. The onboard Wi-Fi was also non-functional, with the driver claiming it was broken. Only after raising complaints with the tour manager were these issues addressed. I've done several tours during my trip, and this was one of the weakest experiences. I would not recommend this company unless they take serious steps to improve punctuality, coordination, and basic service standards.

  The restaurant we stopped by at Gori was below average: overpriced for tourists, taste was debatable. The content of the tour (information provided) was a bit boring and useless. Organizational aspects were ok.
