This tour will take you to the highest of the Andes by the international road to Argentina. The route gives a postcard view of the most imposing and beautiful mountains, including one of the most beautiful lagoons in the Andes mountains. The lagoon has an intense emerald green color and transparency that reflects the vastness of the surrounding mountains. It tells the sad story of a beautiful Inca princess who, when she died, her husband deposited the body of his beloved in the bed of the lagoon, turning the color of the waters to emerald green, like the eyes of the princess.

5.00A wonderful experience traveling to the Andes and lagoon with plenty of time to grab lunch and explore. Nice little stops along the way there and back to break-up the drive. Sebastian was a fabulous guide!

5.00Our guide Sophie was highly knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. We enjoyed learning about both Chilean history and the local flora/fauna and even managed to spot several groups of condors circling high above the Andes. The bright turquoise waters of the Inca Lagoon were breathtaking and picture perfect. Ascending and descending the 29 switchbacks of the famous “Los Caracoles” (Snail Road) was also particularly memorable. Navigating mountain roads is no easy feat, so our driver should be commended for being careful, highly skilled and professional. The day concluded with empanadas and wine at a roadside hostelry where we were also able to see llamas and alpacas. Note: I assume this was a substitute for the In Situ winery which appears to be closed on a Sunday.

5.00We had an amazing day visiting Inca Lagoon in Portillo. On the way, we had wine tasting and delicious empanadas. The scenery spectacular and the cars and trucks climbing 20 something curves up the mountain were just incredible. We had lunch at Hotel Portillo (on our own expense) and enjoyed beautiful lagoon, walked down to the beach. The color of water was aqua and snow topped mountains were so picturesque. Our guide Julio was an enthusiastic historian and educator. We learned so much from him. He seemed to enjoy his job to the max and he spoke excellent English. Most of all, he was very thoughtful host, saving unused bottle of wine from the winery for us so that we can have with our meal later on. We really appreciated his hospitality. I recommend this company without any reservations.
Laguna Inca + Cordillera, a good option.

5.00Joaquin was a fantastic Host! Very knowledgeable, very personable and attentive. He was a pleasure to spend the day with. Our Driver, Isaac also was fantastic. A drive through the mountains is best done by an experienced professional and he certainly is that. Together they provided a Great Experience! I highky recommend this tour and request them if possible

5.00Joaquín and Isaac were absolutely amazing on the Winery & Andes Mountains tour! They were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience so enjoyable from start to finish. As a female solo traveler, I felt completely safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout the whole trip. They created such a welcoming and fun atmosphere while also making sure everyone was organized and informed. The views, the winery experience, and the drive through the Andes were unforgettable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting!
